I got a nice plug from fellow Webcomics Collective website, Heroes Inc! Give it a read, if you fancy and then check out the very cool twist on the superhero genre.

My friend Diana is selling some very cool swag in the form of sketchbooks and prints.  If you like babes drawing babes, then you’ll really appreciate the work.

It’s not quite official yet, but I’m making plans to be at the Mid-Ohio Con AND Baltimore Con this October.  If you are going to be at either (or both!) be sure to let me know. 😉

Lovefeast-the webcomic!

Let me bring your attention to Jessica Cantlope’s LOVEFEAST, a mature action/drama online graphic novel, which expores the lives of people who gave up their abnormal lives to become Death Gods. That’s frickin cool, right?   Picture this: you’re in a strange, new place. Everyone, especially the guy you like, seems to think you’re “odd”. You’re encountered by myths on a daily basis. Oh, and you’re a death god now.

Jessica’s got just enough story for you to whet your appetite, but not so much that reading the archives will be a chore. I really like the art, especially the background art. You can tell that Jessica is very disciplined in her work. Also, if you fancy a manga look, you’ll be very happy with her work.

And the story is at a very dramatic point. If you like reading dramatic tension with great art, you’ll want to give Lovefeast a whirl.

Wizard World Chicago 2009

A great time hanging out with Keith, Michelle and even Trevor hung out for a spell. My feet were killing me after the second day but it was worth it. I got to meet some very cool people, some delusions I had were tragically dispelled and hanging out with friends in person was criminally too short.

Friday was jumping and I gots to meet alot of fine folks interested in Rival Angels. Saturday had way more people and was way hotter. Ask anyone, it was stupid hot. Sunday, I got to walk around and get a few autographs like my Dreamer books, early Freddie Williams comics/books and chatting with my friends over at the UFO, the Daves of Shadowgirls and Scott and Benita Story. Dave and I have a fun little something in the works. Well, really Dave, I just have to contribute a small part. 😉 It should be smoking cool.

Of course, what con weekend would be complete without the requisite boozing and the silliness that comes with the boozing. I just have to remember that I’m not 17 anymore. Mores the pity! Take a gander at the fine photos below.
