The return of Black Widow! She might’ve gotten fired from Rival Angels for her actions in her championship match with Brenda Rua, but she’s landed on her feet in the land of the rising sun. And what that means is all kind of bad news for Sabrina.

I know a couple of you guessed yourselves out of Black Widow as Sabrina’s mystery assailant based in part by what Kaci said. My answer to her response is, ‘this is coming from the Brit girl who thinks all Yanks spending time in Rival Angels know each other. After all, all girls in BRA know each other. And, it’s Kaci.’

Awww…you know I love Bren (obviously) but I have to say, I like Callie. And, I don’t think Callie’s taken it out of the context of the site….BUT, I know neither lady needs me to defend them. Of course, drawing them in a match would be something for me….
Problem is, Boss, if this was an actual wrestling show, the point of “shut up and fight” would’ve been weeks ago. Since that can’t actually happen, though, we get “treated” to weeks of middle school antagonism. I give up on the forums, and suddenly it comes to the front page. Ugh.
Covetousness, Donny, not jealousy. I work hard to properly categorize all of my sins!
Brenda pretty much just lets it all go into gluttony, of course.
As for “can’t actually happen”… well, no need to spoil the surprise.
What I’ve been craving, in fact, is the “shut your mouth” effect. You know how, once you reach the appropriate amount of trash-talk to keep the audience entertained but before it gets really old and stupid and childish, the person talking trash gets punched in the mouth and then has to stop talking and fight? That’s what’s missing from this situation. The point where it should have all ended in violence, in order to preserve entertainment value, was Long Ago.
Well as you’ve pointed out, this isn’t actually a wrestling show. You’re not holding a ticket, sitting in a seat you’ve paid to be in. Consequently, no one else has to concern themselves (and I assure you no one does) with how entertaining you find the goings-on around you, largely because they assume you’re aware that rather than acting like one of those petulant little smarks chanting “Bo-ring” during mat wrestling sequences, you can simply not read things you don’t find interesting.
Have to agree with Callie on this one. Let’s not be snobbish, Blitz.
That’s why I quit going to the forums. But I read the comments section. Or have so far. Guess it’s time to reconsider that too.

Oh No, fellow Angels! Sabrina is in a tough situation. Between traveling to a new country, fighting in a cat fight and now facing off against the deranged Black Widow, what will happen to our crusading hero? Stay tuned next week and give me 100 Frog Splashes in the mean time.
Well that explains the other Yank, that was mentioned. I guess when you do something bad in RA you get shipped to Japan… This should be interesting.

So, it WAS Black Widow. Should’ve known. Danielle would’ve been too obvious.
The from-below angle is really working for Widow. Ahem. Also a good angle for Sabrina, though I’m not too eager to see it for the same reason too very often.
The fact that these nutjobs hired Widow so quickly after her inglorious departure from Rival Angels does not speak well of the federation, not one bit. Guess we know who this season’s Big Bad is, and it’s someone good enough to make Brenda really work for the win. Interesting. If Sabrina can beat Widow in Japan, she’ll be on a whole different level when she returns to Rival Angels.
Danielle WAS an outstanding guess. Was it still a good surprise that it was the itsy bitsy spider?
You can bet that Atlas and Takashi didn’t wait a minute to sign Bitsy to a deal. And you’re right about the challenge this potentially poses for Sabrina.

You know where I went wrong? I listened to J.C. – because he thinks he’s a writer. Aiyaa… my manager is an idiot. Also, seeing the ‘Perfect’ end to a ‘Perfect’ day in quotes like that teased Mo Chen to thinking it was Danielle. The Widow is 10x worse. Not only is she better, tougher, stronger and meaner than Perfection – she’s pissed off.

I don’t like red herrings, so I hope that wasn’t a violation, but JC deserves a long distance high-five for putting that together. And I agree that Black Widow is much, much worse than Danielle.
You weren’t the only one. My first thought on seeing the word ‘perfect’ in quotes was ‘waitaminute, isn’t there a wrestler with that word in her name?’ And the use of Danielle Perfection would’ve been a way to bring back elements from the beginning of the comic. Would’ve been great. Oh well – I would’ve been grumpy at seeing Sabrina’s old rival just overwhelm her, the way we saw at the start of the chapter.
Widow is definitely a much bigger, nastier problem, and I can’t say I’m disappointed to see her instead of Danielle. Gabrielle had to know Widow was here, and is trying to force Sabrina to grow into the big leagues in a hurry.
the return of the Widow, very nice. and i see she’s in a good mood because she’s in position to lay the hurt on Brina. see Sabrina- you can get away from Rival Angels but Rival Angels won’t get away from you.
interested to see BW’s grudge against Brina seeing how they hadn’t had any “on camera” interactions before this. Unless she was at the gym that one time when Brenda complemented Brina while she was training with Marina so that sealed Brina on “Team Rua” in her mind.

I think its more that Sabrina was the golden girl when BW got the boot… and how better to take out your hate on Gabrielle for firing you than on her little pet?
How perfect is that? ‘you get away from Rival Angels, but Rival Angels won’t get away from you?’ Black Widow is looking to pound on a semi-familar face and they didn’t share any screen time before now. However, her attitude is shared by a lot of girls in Rival Angels. They’re just more polite about it.
hope we get the vag claw in this match up, that would be awesome, no rules, this is Japan!

Black Widow is a pschyo path. She has no buisness being in a ring at all as she has NO self control what so ever. She has not shown that she can fight without trying to injure people.
This is because I called Black Widow a GLOW reject and a David McLane stock character, isn’t it?
