Chapter: Chapter 13 - Hostile Intent
Characters: Krystin Moline, Sara Valentine
Location: Angel Dome arena
Krystin was in the driver’s seat but she outsmarted herself. Or maybe, she’s still feeling the effects of that frying pan-shot to the chin from last update? In any case, Sara capitalized and finally hit Krystin with the brass knuckles! (You might remember that Sara was unsuccessful in her attempt last match.) It still took two shots to the jaw (the one that got hit with a frying pan) to drop Krystin. Any chance of coming back? She better hope so. With Sara putting a chair atop of Krystin like that, it’s not going to be good for her. Just what does Sara have planned?

Well I can’t imagine at this rate that anything good can come from this for Krystin. I know the chair is on top of her right now but I can’t help but think a one woman conchairto is in Sara’s future plans.
I think somehow Krystin will bounce back and win this thing, I’m just at a loss as to how at the moment…

Well colour me surprised I didn’t see that counter chair shot off the top rope happening 🙂 Do we get to see a Sarah finisher move or is she just warming up?
I think that there should have been a bit more selling of the frying pan shot to show that Krystin was still dazed… as it stands the rebounded chairshot just makes her look incompetent. Or maybe have Sara DUCK rather than basically be saved by Krystin’s ineptness in hitting an unmoving target. Just a panel of Krystin staggering about to let us know her brain isn’t fully functioning would have done it, IMO.
I want panel 1 blown up and hung on my wall.
Def Tech is in a bad way at the moment and with the effects of the frying pan showing up in the previous update, the chair mishap here, and a pair of brass knuckle shots, she’ll be hard pressed to recover. In fact, I’ll be surprised if this isn’t the beginning of the end for Krystin. There’s either another shot from a foregin object or a top rope move (double stomp perhaps? Schoolgirl seems like the flying double stomp type to me, I dunno why. Either that or a good ol’ senton) on the way. Looking forward to the next update, as always.
ahhh Chris C just beat me to it, i was thinking of a diving stomp myself.
or, while i dont think its likely i DO think it would be cool, swing a sledgehammer onto the chair. Just think it might be effective (and imaginative)
WOOT! Yes come on Albone lets see either a double stomp or better still a leg drop on the chair to make sure Krystin can’t recover, then we HAVE to see Sassy’s A.S.S finisher
Either way, I really hope Ms Valentine is on her way to getting the 3 count against her rival
Panel 1.2: bouncing steelchair, that hurts..
Panel 1.3: how can Sara hide a brassknuckles underneath her brassier? I don’t know.. do you think Sara is uncomfortable putting that on her brassier?
Panel 2: “don’t do unto others, if you don’t want others don’t it to you” that right hook.. Krystin’s spits out blood.. remember Krystin did to Sun.. episode 59.. heheh!!
Panel 3: That uppercut is another for Krystin.. episode 300… Krystin uppercut Sara.. now Sara uppercut Krystin with brass knuckles.. hhehe!! should I say… “Shouryuken!!”

next episode: I sense… Sara executed an after school special on Krystin..
(Note: we never actually saw After school special executed perfectly.. last we saw is Xtina rolled out of the way)

It’s really a triple shot on D.T. Landing on the back of the head like in the last frame is a big no-no, the first thing taught when one learns how to fall. She may have been out; if not, she likely is now. Ouch!
Congrats to Sara on finally landing with the brass knucks! Now I wonder if she’s going to showboat. Big mistake if so!
Sara seems to have the edge here. for some reason i’m thinking top rope flying elbow into the chair…except sara’s bringing the empty trash can with her for the trip. Sara lands on trash can which smashes into chair which both smash into Krystin. Sara might take some damage ala RVD and his five star frog splash but Krystin would take the worst of it.
and seeing how Krystin appears to be out cold, ducking doesn’t seem to be an option. or is she just playing possum as we find out later she has an adamantium plate in her jaw which allowed her to take so many shots to the jaw. Krystin does have the possible option, if she gets her bearing sin time- to do the patented “throw the chair up at the person flying towards you and let their own momentum clobber them” trick. Sara does look a bit too pleased with herself in the last panel- some posing on the way perhaps?
i see Jeff is quick to point out the legality of the brass knuckles before Dawn can even start to complain about it.
RAWF, Krystin is definitely in some trouble and if she doesn’t do something quick, she’s going to be at Sara’s mercy. A one-woman-conchairto would be wickedly devistating.
Kurt, it would seem that while Krystin had a good grasp on the cane and tambourine, the chairshot was still a bit out of her element. Maybe she shouldn’t have deviated from her ground game so much? Sara’s finisher coming? With the way that chair is positioned, Sara would end up hurting herself too.
Adon, ‘incompetent‘ might be accurate, but I think it’s more of a rookie mistake that she did to herself, more than anything Sara did or didn’t do. Plus, Krystin doesn’t seem to have very good luck with chairs. As far as the ‘selling’ the frying pan goes, that may or may not have had anything to do with the mishap. There’s a lot of info there for you, the reader, to draw your conclusion. Plus, more to come. 😉
Haha, Chris! You like panel 1, eh? XD Flying double stomp would be pretty evil! I like how you think. Krystin’s showing a lot of heart but that’s a lot of shots to the head. Sara’s definitely making a move on Wednesday. 😉

Ha, Matt! I had a feeling you’d dig this update. XD Lots of thoughts that Sara is going up to the top rope. It’s possible, and you have to think that she’s going for something big.
MGC, Sara’s had plenty of practice hiding those brass knuckles in her bra, and it’s her ace-in-the-hole so she’s willing to put up with it. It’s all fallen apart for Krystin pretty quickly, with the self-inflicted chairshot and the hard right hands. A perfectly executed After School Special…onto a chair? That’d kind of hurt, wouldn’t it?
Hey Champ! Good eyes! Where Krystin lands on her back and head, she’s pretty much out of it. And she needs to recover quick if she wants to win because you just know that Sara’s got something bad (for Krystin) in mind.
jpiv, you join the growing number of people who think that Sara’s got a top rope move in mind. Could be! Yeah, there’s all sorts of weapons still laying around, so she could easily use something that’s around. Krystin’s going to need an adamantium skull to have survived this last round of shots and still be awake. The next few moments are critical. Will Sara showboat long enough for Krystin to get her bearings back? And yeah, Jeff is beside himself and couldn’t resist preemptively cutting Dawn off about the legality of the knucks. XD
Brass knuckles to the face = ouch. Not that I’m speaking from personal experience, thank goodness. But still.
Also, I imagine that hitting yourself in the head with a metal chair is not an enjoyable experience.
Now this match is Starting to get good.
Please don’t throw me in that briar patch, Mister Bear! ::grin:: Okay, looks like Sara found the conditions to make her knuckles work for her. Well done, girl, now put her down before she wakes up – and stay far far away from her for the next month while her skull mends!
My call for the next page, however, involves Sara climbing onto a turnbuckle to deliver a high spot move….and getting grabbed off of it by Brooke or Amanda.
Trevor, I’m thankful that I too, have not had the experience (yet) of being drilled in the face with brass knuckles. The self-inflicted chairshot is as painful as it is embarrassing.

Cookie Ogre, we are starting to see a bit why this is Sara’s match and why it’s not Krystin’s. That’s been a question on a lot of peoples minds….will Sara showboat or actually try to put Krystin away? Good question. Hey, I think you’re the only one suspecting another appearance by Brooke and/or Amanda. 😉

I know I’ve seen a chair bounce like that before, but that does not make Krystin look good to mess up like that. Sara of course is an opportunistic heel and took advantage.
Krystin looks both attractive and bad ass in panel 1.
It took a lot to finally take Krystin down (pot, chair, and a double tap from the knuckles) she better have a good Fort or Will save (ah D&D) to survive whats next. I know Sara wants to inflict more damage to Krystin, but she could have the pin easily there, last time she took too long her head was used for a bongo and tambourine solo. I say top rope move as well since I am not sure what type of move Sara’s finishers A.S.S (After School special) really is, the play on words reminds me of vintage DX with B.A. Billy Gunn and the “Fame-Ass-er”
Ken, she doesn’t look too good with that miscue. Chalk it up to a rookie mistake, or still woozy from the frying pan shot. Or, just plain goofed. Glad you like panel 1, seems like it’s a popular panel!
Hey Jabberwocky! It took a lot to get Krystin down, but will she stay down? Sara is potentially wasting time here, but knowing her, she’s got something up her sleeve, especially with the deliberate way in which she placed that chair. Of course, if Sara takes too long, she might regret it. Sara’s ASS move is akin to Molly Holly’s Molly-go-round. Definitely a play on words in the vein of the NAO. 😉
Got to admit I’m not into the “backyard wrestling” kind of thing so I hope this one wraps soon. Good to see more of Krystin, though.
Marvelous! The bouncing chairshot just screams The Rock vs. Mankind Last Man Standing Match (along with a throbbing headache). The colors and lines are very vibrant as always, and the pace is definitely increasing. The brass knuckle shot from Sara drawing the weapon (very nice shot) to the execution was done very well. I can’t wait for the next episode! Keep up the great work!
If Sara does win, which would be a good development for the PPV, I say a “I Quit” or a “Submission” match would be a nice brutal tie breaker a little for both them enjoy.
Krystin had blood coming out of her mouth after the first knuckles shot. I want the last panel as a poster or Sara’s expression blown up. Could this be a win for the Sassy Schoolgirl? Oh man, it’d be a great holiday present! Valentine’s sassy attitude is just so awesome.

Yeah, in the fourth panel, Krystin’s losing some blood. It looked much brighter when I was coloring it and hopefully show up better in print. But yeah, definitely not the holiday look she was shooting for. XD
