Looks like Sara was busy planting stuff around the ringside area. Crutches and skateboards are fair game and is her equalizer for Krystin’s ground game. Hard to argue with results. It was all going Krystin’s way just a second ago, but that seems like a lifetime ago. You probably guessed that Krystin hasn’t been involved in many ‘schoolyard brawls,’ and now that Sara’s got the upper hand, life might get downright rough for the Definition of Technician. Also, could it be that Jeff and Sara know each other more intimately than we might’ve guessed? 😉 The action continues on Wednesday!
Tomorrow, I’ll be posting some pictures from the SHIMMER show I went to in early November. SHIMMER is the greatest wrestling promotion around and has the most awesomy women around. Check it out if you get a chance. 😉
I knew she had something planned when it looked like in the last panel she was reaching for an object under the ring. That really turned things around in her favor. This match is far from over.

LOL at the interaction between the fans and Sara. Albone, are you inspired by what happen between the fans and Chris Jericho at Survivor Series ? For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, it happens at Survivor Series and it goes like this.

by the way… 70% of the crowd cheers for Sara Valentine, while 29% cheers for Krystin, 1% of the crowd just kept silent…

Sarah seems to have strategically placed objects all around the ring to help her out in this fight. On the one hand I have to give it to her for thinking ahead. On the other hand, how did someone not notice a skateboard under their table?
i think it’s kinda funny that Sara seems to have the crowd on her side yet she’s insulting fans in the middle fo th match. I think jeff was more trying to play it cool with sara’s comment since at first it sounded like he had no idea that sara seemed to know what she shouldn;t have known. then of course played along to add to his “Angels stud- cred”. meanwhile Sara adds to her char development mid match.
kinda tough to not notice there was a skateboard there, especially as it seemed to be on jeff’s side of the announcer’s area. more jeff playing dumb here methinks.
i notice Sara’s been the one coming up with the big shots so far while Krystin’s trying to survive on Def tech instinct until she can get her head together and get sara in the ring where there should be fewer surprise international objects lying around to keep sara from surprising her all the time like she has so far. of course’s there’s always the brass knuckles in the top trick from their last encounter sara has up her…um…sleeve.

RAWF, there was a bit of foreshadowing in the last update so I’m glad you caught it and reinforced what’s going on here. More to come in this match? You betcha!
MGC, I’m always thrilled when I can deliver surprises and entertainment. 😀 Probably no flashbacks for Sara but we’ll see more of her in the future. The thing with Jeff is meant to be vague. What do you think is up with those two? Yes, it was a back body drop, but the announcers were too surprised to call it. Ha ha, I wouldn’t expect Sara to be generous with the fans any time soon. Sure, she shakes her booty, but she does if for herself, not the fans though you really don’t hear anyone complaining. If Gabrielle thinks she can make a nickel on something you can be sure that she’ll sell it.
Hey Chris, yeah the pictures are mad cool. Even got some Hamada and Del Ray closeups! It seemed to me that a girl like Sara and a guy like Jeff might have had a run-in or two in the past. 😉
PS2Kid, I actually didn’t get Survivor Series this time around, but I’m definitely not above homaging Jericho. A certain, vocal element of the crowd supports Sara but that doesn’t mean she’s very nice to them, especially other girls. More on that next update. 😉

Trevor, she definitely used her head for this match. It’s her match so she knows how to best utilize the potential here. She can’t outwrestle Krystin but in this match, she doesn’t have to. Jeff’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but there is some speculation on the comments here that he did know, but is lying to Dawn about it.
Oh jpiv, you make me so happy with noticing that Sara is cheered yet still insulting. It’s going to come into play as this match goes on, starting with the very next panel! Sara’s landed the big shots but Krystin keeps coming back. Krystin, is trying to get this into the ring where she feels she can chain a few moves and holds together to put Sara awary (for good!). What’s your prediction? Brass knuckles? You think Sara will go back to that well again? 😛

Yeah I’ll probaby be at both those cons, not sure yet, but I’m most likely be there. I knew the momentum shift was coming! Damn that must hurt. With the roll of awesome matchs this comic is on, I can’t wait for Desade and Sabrina now, but I don’t want this match to end, I could probably watch Sara and Kristin fight forever. I have to give that to Sara, have thinking ahead her match and placed those items is very a good plan fo rhtta kind of match… For me she gained some kudo for that. I love the interaction she have too, she give us a pretty good show now, i like her sassyness like usual. I hope she gonna win, after the lost she got in the past, in my opinion she deserve a win. XXX Sara!
Sara definitely is one of those heels that have a fanbase – she’s fun and brash as well as clever and clearly bad because it gets results and fits her personality. Great to see more of her in action.
Rorschach, I’ll be at C2E2 for sure, but right now I don’t have a table. Maybe that’ll make it easier to chat? I think what’s hurting Krystin the most is the shock of being hit with these items out of nowhere. A punch, kick or hammerlock, sure. But a skateboard? How do you plan for that? 😛 DeSade and Sabrina will be extra special. 😉 BUT, Sabrina’s match with Xtina is right after this one and there’s going to be a few wrinkles in that match too. I’ll definitely be fishing for some PS3 game help later in December, so thanks!

Svan, expect a few more surprises from these girls before the end of the match. No disagreement that Sara is due a win especially the rough way that Krystin has treated her in the past. Will it happen though? Currently, the signs are pointing that way but the momentum has been known to change rather suddenly. O_o
Picky, the great thing about Sara is that she’s got fans that love her and love hating her. Plus, there’s readers who happen to love both Sara and Krystin so this is a pretty cool match for just about everyone. More action on Wednesday!
That was cool, never seen a skateboard used as a weapon before in wrestling. It’s probably been done at some point though, maybe in ECW. In the panel before that, I kinda want to know where Sara’s hand is . . .
I like that they explain where the weapons come from. When HHH breaks out the sledgehammer, it’s like, do they just keep them under the ring for the hell of it?
Ken, it’s possible that the skateboard is a Rival Angel innovation! As for where Sara’s hand is, I leave that to you to decide but she does come out with the skateboard. HHH wills it and it happens. 😛

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of them because I was too frightened for my life, haha.

There’s a really funny crutch joke, but I can’t think of it right now… I like the conversation between Jeff and Sara – that was pretty funny. Let’s see, what else could Sara use as a weapon? Box of crayons, loaf of bread, a bottle of her anti-bacterial medicine… I think Krystin needs to stop being a target soon, or there’s no way she’ll be strong enough to finish this match, let alone win it.
For now Sara is in the drivers seat of the match, but it only takes one moment of, I don’t know, taunting for Ms. Moline to hit a power move and come back. Krystin really needs to ground Sara if she wants a fighting chance without a submission hold damage Sara can keep running for her bag of tricks, no pun or innendo intended.

Right you are, Jabberwocky, Sara’s in the driver seat but as you saw with Krystin, it can change on a dime. You think Sara will waste time with taunting? She’s not Sabrina. lol This match is all about Sara’s trickyness/resourcefullness and Krystin’s ground game and ability to improvise.
i think that the sara gurl needs to be put into a camel clutch and then she passes out that would be a good ending to this chapter
