Page 300 – 300!
Page 300!! And without missing an update too (pats myself on the back). So, if I update 3x a week and updated 300 times, does that mean I updated 100 weeks in a row without missing an update?
I’m happy to say that at pages 100 and 200 we had wrestling action and it continues! Anyone have any favorites from the last 100 pages or so? I’m sure the Sabrina and Sun fight would have to be up there and that led to the bonding session at Brooke and Michael’s love nest. We also go the Sun origin story as well as when the Upstarts clowned Hell’s Belles. So what are some of your favorite moments?
Picking back up where we left off on Wednesday, Krystin is continuing to torment the schoolgirl, this time dumping her into a trash can and generally beating the crap out of her. Can Sara rally or Krystin going to continue to dominate? The crowd is into the match. They’re supporting both girls, but the bigger chant is for Sara. More to come on Monday!

I can’t say what my favorite moment was, I love them all.
I call Sara turns the tables right here. Her hand is offscreen in panel 4 and there very well could be a foreign object she’s reaching for there that’s destined to find Def Tech’s head. We shall see what happens Monday.

Congrats to Rival Angel’s 300 pages of girls, glory, and great ring action. I love the brawling so far. Bruiser Brody would be proud. Something tells me Sara has something coming up in that fourth panel. It seems like she’s reaching for an item. Plus, I can’t wait to see if some of Krystin’s submission skills come into play here. So far, Krystin’s quite the brawler, which is a big factor in Sara’s plan since she didn’t expect this or the slight hand from Amanda and Brooke.
Congratulations on the 300th page, and also for not missing a single update! THAT is an achievement!!
I like it when action takes place over trash talk and words… My preference goes to one of the earliest pages, where we can see a very confident Brooke striking a beautiful double-biceps pose… 😉
Congratulations to Alan and all at RA on your 300th birthday! It’s been quite a three hundred pages: Ice cream, penny bouncing, screwjobs, chair shots, blood, sex, sweat, hangovers, shopping, betrayals, a commissioner’s machinations, origin stories, gimmick changes and Tom Cruise… oh and somehow we’ve found the time between all that for a fatal fourway, a battle royale, tag team matches, a hardcore match, a singles tournament, a training session and however much more! Every match, even the regular singles matches, has managed to be unique. Kudos, you have an excellent sense of balancing combat psychology with spectacle (I’m choreographer for an historical re-enactment society so trust me, I know what to look for!)
Favourite bits? I absolutely loved the hijinks in the pool which seemed to loosen Krystin up (even if Brooke was faking it) and gave us a sneak preview of the Tsunami… hopefully we’ll see it again one day, when Sun and Brina put all this behind them. And y’know, anyone up for jumping off a roof is okay in my book XD. Seriously though, it was just a nice moment of them being lazy and hanging out, defences down. A nicely written change of pace from all the tension and drama.
I also loved the Hell’s Belles lampoon, not to mention Brooke’s impersonation of Brina… Brina making Sun talk to fans right after making her go on a roller coaster… the brief but tantalising flashback to Krystin’s schooldays (I hope we get to see more of her history)… Sun jumping up on Damage, Inc’s table to cheer Sabrina on… three little words, “I already did”… Chloe offering the same deal to Angel Soprano, Amanda Breaker and Josie York… and York telling her to get stuffed! All great moments, although I’m know I’m missing many more.

and it’s a heartbreaking to watch…
One question.. since it’s a no Disqualification, how come non of a Sara Valentine fan.. attack Krystin Moline.. and I have to question about the angel dome? ahh? they used a steelchair for the audience, it’s like shimmers, and other organization, ? it reminds me of E.C.W. (past) I know.. that these days, padded couches in stadium or dome? how come Rival Angels doesn’t have padded couches or chairs, .. heheh!!

I guess next episode.. Sara Valentine grabs a weapon.. A steelchair? a shillelagh, knifestick, a taser knife, shinai, brassknuckles? and hits Krystin right on the kisser, then Sara quickly rolled Krystin into the ring.. 1…………..2…………3…
I’m still waiting for a guitar, if Sara can get one.. and hits Krystin’s face.. maybe Sara can borrow my ‘Yamaha RGX 112’ heheh!! and hits it on Krystin’s face.. heheh!

Brooke, Krystin and Amanda.. hmmm I think their stable name will be D.M.G. (Defination of D Marshmallow Goddess)

Chris, there very well might be a surprise come Monday. So, do you think Sara’s pleading in panel 4 is genuine (cuz she wants the foriegn object) or is she feinting Krystin? Many more memorable moments to come. 🙂

Hey CAIMARU! Man, I’m happy that you’ve enjoyed the last 300 pages. 🙂 The growing consensus is that Sara’s got something up her sleeve per panel 4. We’ll have to wait and see! As you can see, Krystin is kind of toying with Sara and not hitting her with any real submission moves. And they wouldn’t benefit her too much because you can’t win outside of the ring and if she hurts Sara, she’s stuck dragging her in the ring. Of course, changing up to a brawling style has thrown Sara for a loop and she’s been on the defense ever since.
Jul, I’m a big fan of ‘show’ over ‘tell.’ I remember that double bicep pose of Brooke’s, as she was showing Sabrina what she had in store for her. 😉

Hey MGC! Man, you’ve been around for most of that 300, eh? I think since the fatal four way? You always ask some interesting questions. Well, Sara’s fans don’t want to get thrown out, which would be the proper protocol for assaulting the talent. All of the chairs on the floor are steel chairs. The rest are padded seats that are bolted to the floor. DMG would make a pretty sweet team and that would make a pretty sweet match!

Congrats on 300. If you hit 308 that’s two years without missing one which is pretty damn impressive. Although you might want to take Christmas off as that’s a Friday, you have my permission, haha. But seriously, a lot of webcomics can’t pull that off so nice job.
In that fourth panel Sara looks like she’ll have a wardrobe malfunction. But I guess she’s been dressing like a ho long enough to learn to tuck and tape, right?
Congratualations Albone! You’ve done good work here. You’ve made the comic entertaining, a great metaphor for lifes relationships. You’ve put life into the context of the Ring. I can see myself in some of the characters like Sun and Sabrina. Also your work ethinc is amazing, Also happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you and everyone of the board are habing a good time with their families and friends.
About the match, I always like matchs with Kristin, she reminds me looks wise of my ex, even though she was a Latina, not African American. So I’m partial to her. Also Sara is a fan favorite and you can’t go wrong with that. This match is particalarly hard to watch, because, I can’t wait to see the whole thing. Good Job on the choregraphy of the matchs of rivals Angels, none of them have been boring, and have the feel of a real show. Again, its a pleasure to read, and I hope to talk to you at the next con in March, I workded my ass off last time andI was so tired. I did sell Victoria and Ms. Jackie a movie, but I was so tired I didn’t reconize them, and had to asked them where I had seen them before. Its been a couple years since I’ve watched wrestling. In any case, I’m gonna try to speak to you a little more at the Con this time a round. Take care Everybody.

i see the crowd seems about 60-40 in Sara’s favor who i agree is looking for an international object under the ring in panel 4. i’m going with the ever popular kendo stick. more importantly though- will sara’s top manage to stay up the entire match? it’s trying to make a run for it in panel 4….

Ha ha, jpiv! Krystin just needs to add a bit of fire t her uppercut to really sell it. XD It would seem that Sara’s top is struggling with our PG-13 rating but it should be okay. For now. 😛 The crowd is cheering for both girls but good catch with the 60-40 split.
