Man ‘o man, Sara just can’t catch a break. The brass knuckles would’ve been a good game changer, but Krystin’s reflexes saved her in the nick of time. This match has been all Krystin’s since the opening bell. And why not? Krystin’s had every advantage including being a surprise opponent for Sara. Can the Schoolgirl reach the ropes and force the referee to break the Texas Cloverleaf submission hold?

On a personal note, I got a kitty last Thursday! Yay! She’s very pretty. On Friday, we had a monsoon and the sewers backed up about a foot of water into my basement. Stinky, dirty water wrecking things. Not too much damage, most of the furniture was saved, but the carpets are probably hosed, so I may be installing new carpet this Summer. Or not. I did stumble upon some old, old artwork of mine. It ranged from early 80’s to mid-90’s. The saddest art you’ve ever seen and the worst part is that I really thought I was the awesome. Anywho, I still have to rip up the carpet when it dries out, but all in all, everything is okay.
Tomorrow, me, the Mrs and the guys are going to WWE’s Smackdown! I’ll probably have some pictures up on Wednesday or Thursday. 😀

And one must wonder what kind of bra Sara’s wearing that she can both look great and hide lumpy pieces of metal without it showing and/or possibly damaging her chest when she gets thrown into stuff.
Sara should have clipped Krystin’s knee, gotten her into a headlock facing away from the ref and then used the brass knuckles. *sigh*

I cant see her reaching the ropes so it looks like shes probably going to lose again. The only hope is that someone grabs the brass knuckles and whacks Krysten from behind with them whilst the ref isnt looking, or some other distraction… possibly a team, one to keep the ref busy and the other to do the job on Krysten.

Either way its kinda disappointing Sassy is being beaten by much less exciting wrestlers…Â Its also a bit silly Krysten blocked the punch but i suppose she has to win somehow
even with that block.. that still hurt..

i must admit, im little disapointed here, sorry Albone but i never been excited by pure squash match and i was hoping some reversal in that match. Like Sara hit Krystin right in her face with her brass knuckle and beat her during a while. I though Sara was a better wrestler too. Anyway, its still awesome arts, the texas cloverleaf is nice.
Great work on the cloverleaf. Very nice detail and expressions, boss. But it’s not totally sunk in so there’s hope that Sara might roll if she’s not totally dazed.
And you’re a beast for not telling us the kitty’s name!

Still cheering for Krystin, but I’m going to predict interference in the next page from someone who just thinks she’s going too far. That said, can someone enlighten me on this point – how stringent are regulations and punishments on use of weapons in pro wrestling? I’ll admit to never having actually watched television wrestling, but on one hand, these people have to train hard to not only fight well but keep from seriously hurting their opponents by mistake. Entertainment aspects aside, if you start intentionally injuring people to where they can’t work for weeks on end then you’re not gonna be kept around, right? On the other hand, I hear about people getting hit with metal folding chairs. What’s the reality here?

Okay… now that I’ve marked out a bit, Svan… do not doubt the author. I predit that the escape is where Sara gets an advantage. She’ll make the ropes, act even worse off than she is and probably dump Krystin outside, further hurting that arm. Then it’ll be time for some schoolgirl action.
Not that it’ll help, but this is not going to be a total squash. Sara is too skilled for that. She was in the TV tourney, after all. She’s got to have something going for her, other than her short skirts.
Krystin is still gonna clean her clock, but it’s not going to be a squash for much longer.

Picky, it’s my opinion that if Sara could have pulled that off, she wouldn’t need the knuckles. Â This is more of Sara in a off-balanced and confused state. Â It happens.
Hey Matt, Sara hasn’t lost yet, but I can see your point. Like I wrote before, this is Sara in an off-balanced state. Â She never really got a chance to get anything going. Â The brass knuckles is a desperation move where she got unlucky and Krystin was very lucky to block it. Â Things are going Krystin’s way….for now. Â It’s possible that either a friend of Sara’s or someone with an ax to grind with Krystin (or her string puller) could still show up.
MGC, yeah it still stung something fierce even through the padded gloves. Sara hasn’t lost against Krystin here, but it’s interesting to see so many readers assume that she has lost. Â But I may have forgotten, but I don’t think Krystin has ever cheap shot Sara. Â You want a clue for next update do you? Â LOL Â Okay, expect to see another foreign object. 😉 Â As far as cheering and booing, the fans are still on the fence on who to support. Â Some like Krystin and some like Sara, as the two girls represent very different styles of wresting, in and out of the ring. Â That distinction will be made much more clearly next update.
Svan, sorry to disappoint. It is currently a squash but sometimes its what needed, like when Awesome Kong or Lita ran through a bunch of opponents in a short amount of time. Â It was to help establish their bad-assery. Â Something like that here, but there’s more to this match than meets the eye. Â More on Wednesday. Â I appreciate your love for Sara, but I don’t think we’ve seen her be a ‘good/skilled’ wrestler yet. Â I would say she did well against Xtina (a face) but not so great against Sun (heel/tweener). Â Sara loves your support. 😉

Hey Cookie Ogre! Awesome predictions for the next update. Â We’ll both be surprised at how close they come! As Rival Angels is not scripted like pro wrestling, (think of Rival Angels as being MMA, like the UFC or Strikeforce) there are fines and suspensions levied for using illegal objects like chairs, kendo sticks and brass knuckles. Â We’ll actually get into that more as we go on, where a wrestler(s) take things too far and pay the consequences. Â It’s a fine line between entertainment and serious injury, so that’s a very good question to ask.
Salazen! Krystin’s support has arrived! XD Â Right you are that Sara is skilled as her entrance in the TV tournament would suggest. Â I like your match predictions for the next update. Â Sara’s strength lies in her guile while Krystin’s lies in her technical expertise. Â Would I be ruining it if I were to hint that we will see some schoolgirl action next update? Â Then I won’t say. 😉

here’s one guess:
Sara Valentine grabs the bottom ropes. Krystin released the hold.. Sara rolled outside the ring, then when Krystin went outside. Sara hits Krystin with a brass knuckles.. without the referee’s noticing it. Sara rolled Krystin back into the ring, as Sara climbs off the top turnbuckle.. Sara executed her finisher ‘A.S.S.’ 1….2…3.
Sara wins..
Krystin is unconsious. Sara rolled to the outside, then Sara grabs a hot branding iron with the word “SASSY”
Sara branded Krystin. ahhahaha!

Sara used the tremolo bar to strike Krystin on the head. Krystin crashed to the ground. Sara quickly threw the tremolo bar towards the crowd. then Sara pinned Krystin. then the referee turned and counted 1….2….3..

Well, usually the slutty chick is the babyface and the disapproving woman who comes out and tells her to put some clothes on is the heel, at least if I remember the attitude era of wrestling. Don’t know how the crowd is reacting to this though. I like Sara, but I also like Krystin being this dominant technical wrestler, so I’ll wait and see how this one goes.
Does whisky come out to Shane McMahon’s music? I can see it doing a funky dance.
It is very refreshing to see someone pull out a set of brass knuckles and miss rather than score a direct hit and cause a total anti-climax to the match. Now things are getting interesting although has Kystyn done her wrist in the process…?

Hey Ken! Â The lines are a bit blurred still. Â As it is, Krystin technically hasn’t broken any rules, though Sara went to the knuckles. Â I think things will be a bit more defined after next update. Â You’re not alone, except on the comments, in liking both Sara and Krystin.
Prestwick, she comes down to all of the McMahon’s music and will do a Van Terminator to the first dog she sees.  Things aren’t going Sara’s way, which accounts for the miscues.  Krystin’s got her fluttered and its costing Sara.  Can Sara get it back under control to get the win?  By the way, expect to see the sign you suggested  in the background in a few weeks. 😉
Ugh. Brass knucks? I thought better of Sara than that. Neither one of the women in this bout is getting my vote.

Brass knuckles are a time honored heel tradition. Sara’s just big on wrestling’s history! Go Sassy Sara!
This just makes me like Sara more. Gimme a well played sneaky, devious heel who’ll resort to brass knuckles or the almost as venerable roll of quarters over a huge, unstoppable monster any day. They’re so much more fun. In fact, Sara reminds me a little bit of the late, great Rick Rude in her attitude and the way she insists on “showing off” for the fans before and after the match, and the ability to play the crowd like an instrument is, in my opinion, the difference between a decent heel and a great heel. Sara, I think, has the potential to be a _great_ heel.
I’m just glad Sara didn’t grab the knucks from somewhere under her skirt. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.
