Quick question for you all: Do you pronounce ‘Xtina’ as ‘X-tee-na,’ or ‘Christina?’ Just curious. 😀
No matter how you pronounce it, you can call her ‘Winnah!’ She made the schoolgirl tap, and now Xtina goes on to semi-finals and waits for the winner of the Jen Needles/Sabrina match.
Poor Sara. Her second loss in as many weeks, first to Sun and now to Xtina. And just as she was about to entertain the crowd with her sex appeal, she gets interrupted. Interrupted by whom though? Its really hard to make the figure out. 😛 Okay, maybe not, but hopefully its piqued your interest and make you wonder what’s going to happen next.
*sobs* Oh well, at least she put up a fight this time. But now she’s gonna get beat up by Krystin, yeesh, she can’t get a break ;.; lol. And what’s with the upstarts making all these run ins on injuried or worn out wrestler. Krystin, despite trying to distance herself from Brooke stills seem to be doing the same as her tag partner. I hope Sara knocks her on her techical *** ;D lol. A pipedream I know, but on the plus side, it’ll keep Sara around for another day or two and maybe the dream team that I wished for months ago of Sun and Sara can destory Brooke and Krystin << >>. Of course, to parapharase Troy McClure, you’d have to ingnore the whole Damage INC. storyline and that be just plain silly
I pronounce it X-tee-na, never thought it the other way lol. Then again, I’ve always pronounced Sun more like the Sun family from Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the Dynasty Warriors games, rather the like the star in our galaxy << lol.

Here’s what I think what’s gonna happen..
Krstin will kick Sara Valentine and plant her with the divabreaker… and then apply her summission.. in which is still unknown. I might guess, Sharpshooter or maybe a figure four, or maybe ankle lock or could be crippler crossface. and I think the reason why is because of the summission win by Xtina Carpenter.. I think Krystin want to challenge Xtina in a sumission match.. and also, attacking on the ring with will cause a rackus, on the Rival Angels, will pull attention specially on Commissioner Gabrielle.
Why doing this?
Simple, coz so Krystin can get a match maybe winning her match.. simple strategy though, getting more attention. and also Krystin just copied Brooke.. getting attention..
There’s also another hypothesis in mind..
remember Krystin got some calls.. episode 151 and on episode 129.. there could be some link to it.. like a plot to destroy “Sassy Schoolgirl” Sara Valentine.. hmmm. I think, Shannon McCourt called to do that?

I really can’t blame.. Krystin for destroying Sara Valentine. I pin point Commissioner Gabrielle for pushing “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini too far.. and not letting the other three giving chance and shot that they deserve.. Think of it “GoDDess Aphrodite” Brooke Lennox did to Monica Rumble. then, next Krystin to Sara.. I can’t blame them to be fuse up and fire up and kick the crap on somebody that doesn’t deserve to be kick, and they’ve consider to be casualities.. I just want to spot.. they’re shot to say they’re great in wrestling even though not yet a champ..

Hey, I like Canadian bacon, even if it’s not really bacon in my opinion. Anyway, I’m still trying to figure out how to pronounce Xtina. I guess I say it like “Z-tee-na.” I’ve honestly never seen that name before. As for Krystin, maybe she should be part of Right to Censor, because she’s interrupting something we all wanna see.

Wow, that came out of nowhere. It’s nice to see that Krystin now got her own storyline. Wonder why she choose to appear suddenly though. Perhaps there’s something happen before between Krystin & Xtina ?

Since “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini ban Sun, Brooke and Krystin from helping Sabrina.. hmmm.. could this be, that Krystin is asking Sara to look up for Sabrina. if  Sabrina got mugged by the Hell’s Belles. Sara will help Sabrina..

For alliteration’s sake, I’d always figured there was a C or a K sound to be pronounced in “Xtina” SO even though it doesn’t make much sense – I was calling her Katina in my mind… I know I’m weird.

Yes, NappaAndVegeta, Sara put up a very good fight. She just got frustrated and missed on a chance. It happens. There does seem to be a dangerous pattern here with the Upstart girls. Maybe Sun is next? Hmmm, only one more match tonight….Sun and Sara would make a good team, but I don’t see Sun having the patience to have Sara as a partner. Brooke and Sara maybe, though that’s a lot of ego on one team. Speaking of Sun though, do you pronounce her name as ‘Soon?’
Ha ha Prestwick! Like I said, maybe Sara will resume once things after she figures out what’s going on. Maybe. Xtina gets to wait to see who her next opponent is, and depending on who that is, might increase her chances.
What can I say MGC, Sara put up a good fight but had to submit to the excruciation pain. ps2kid, the plot thickens! I’m glad the appearance of Krystin isn’t lost, because clearly she’s got a reason to be out here at this particular moment. That reason just might surprise you.

As far as pronouncing “Xtina” – I’m partly a cross between Coyote Lovely and Maveric, with a fair bit of clueless added in – when I attempt to pronounce it, I think of “zin-tina” (like sin with a z).

Well, the wrestling action has wrapped up ’till the next match but the drama sure hasn’t.
Panel one: the phrase ‘in your face’ comes to mind. Dawn narrates while Jeff says nothing, I think he was left speechless with surprise.
Panel two: Xtina really eats up the fans’ attention. Jeff finally comes back, I read his tone as disappointment given how much he was rooting for Sara.
Panel three: Sara’s a sore loser. Who would have thought? When she lost to Sun, Sara just vanished; I wonder if she feels cheated by not getting any attention?
Panel four: Sara’s not just dressed like a slut, now she’s acting like one. That expression on her face looks deranged!
Panel five: the men in the audience ( Jeff first among them ) are enjoying this… Dawn sure isn’t. Glad you could use the flaming bell idea, if I have any other ideas I’ll post them.
Panel six: Just as I was wondering if Commissoner Gabrielle was gonna yank the TV coverage with a hasty cut to commercial, Krystin shows up. I wonder what’s so important she’s doing this now and not waiting to talk to Sara in the locker room…
We commentators have a neat community going, reading the comments adds to the experience. Look at M.G.C, the first and foremost Hell’s Belles fan: when you think about it Chloe de Sade isn’t in the comic all that much but with M’s comments she has a background presence, you wonder what she’s doing while out of sight.

Yeah, I pronounce Sun name like “Soon” since I first start reading since that’s how the Sun family in RotK and DW. I’ve assumed I’m wrong for a bit now, unless Sab. likes to say Soonshine a lot…lol.
My theory on what’ gonna happen is Krystin is out here to prove something. Honestly, she not nearly as popular as Sun or Sab. with the fans and Brooke, while not popular herself is a least drawing some heat and gettting booked in matches and segments. The thing with Krystin is, she lost her unseen first match, was clearly at the bottem of the fan poll back during the “Rookie Rumble”, and since then has been Brooke’s second banana, despite trying to detach herself from her recently.
Honestly, Krystin is worse then Brooke both inside and outside the ring. She knew Brooke was up to something (obviously not to the extreme it went) and she still never went to Sab. with any warning at all. And now she’s attacking someone that was just in hard fought match, for seemingly no reason then to feed her own ego. At least Brooke gave warning to Monica with her enternce, video, and other things to make her new grand enterence. Not to mention, Brooke might not have intend to attack Monica until she open her mouth and insulted her. Krystin just snuck out of nowhere, prob. the crowd since we see Xtina going back up the stage.Â
I’m seeing this as Krystin thinking she’s gonna be tough and clean up Rival Angels, maybe even call out Brooke. I really hope she falls flat in her attempt to oust Sara’s spotlight, but being a main character (despite being the most boring lol) has advandages and I think Sara’s gonna be laid out ;.;.
Sun? Soon? I think to get it right, we must find your her name in Chinese. it’s hard though.. Chinese have 3 types of language.. “Canton” “Fukien” “Mandarin” if I remember it correctly.. and her surname “Wong” it’s basically cantonese.Â
but her hometown is in “Detroit” , if she was born in Detroit, she is already an american citizen and her name will pronounce as Sun, (as Sunshine)..
If my hunch is correct.. I guess “Shinobi” “Lil Dragon” Sun Wong’s chinese name is: “Wong San Long” (three Dragon)  or maybe ” Wong Shao Long” (Little Dragon)… I’m just guessing.. though..  Â
Hey wait a minute, I’m coming out of nowhere now to defend Krystin, I know that she may not be popular to some you, but I think she is going a great wrestler in Rival Angels.  Other than Sabrina and Sun’s high flying moves Krystin is a very exciting ,beautiful wrestler that have some awesome moves and teaming with Brooke is her downfal ,lRemember the great wrestlers has to suffer a few loses and gain popularity with the fans is a growing process. Let her have moment of fame, and to those have feel she’s a copy cat,she will eventually come into her own. So back off (lol)and leave Kris alone.

Well Jamie, it seems its meant to be for Sara to be in the mid card and really that’s not such a bad thing, is it? Then again, maybe something happens with this encounter here. Maybe Krystin and Sara will be a tag team!! Mad points for the tushy teaser.
Hey RDF! Great recap man. I always enjoy reading your comments (as well as everyone elses XD) and you have a keen grasp of the story at hand. This is definitely a fun thing going on with you guys posting comments, thoughts and impressions. You read Jeff and Sara especially well in this update. Man, the drama that is coming….you’ll see why its important for Krystin to have this conversation now as opposed to the back, though it might not be immediately obvious. And thanks for weighing in on the pronounciation of Xtina!

Al- Sara has got spunk and seems to get a reaction. That’s what a good heel needs to do. Heck, with her antics she’s close enough to being a ‘tweener. Valentine just seems to have it, being charisma, and I’m a heel fan. A heel’s job is to be interesting and lay groundwork so a face can either stoke the fires more or get some of that heat. Sara seems capable in the ring but showboats so much. Seems like a fun character.
I could not have put it better myself when describing why I love Sara. Just like Sun, she’s a fun character with some edge to her.
