Wow, what a match! As you remember in the last update, Sabrina got drilled with a chair from Zombie Luna. Seems that the ref DID see it and acted accordingly. Of course, he got nailed too and I have to admit that I was rolling when I read that in the script.
Could it be that the ‘winning’ wasn’t the number one priority of the Towers of Terror? I mean, could you put it past Gabrielle to use the Towers as an instrument? Or maybe they just got carried away? I’ll leave it up to you to decide.
Seems Brooke and Sabrina aren’t seeing eye to eye at the end of this one. And in case its not clear, Brooke is using Sabrina’s She-ra cape to cover up.

Commissioner Gabrielle used the “Towers of Terror” as an instrument? hmmm.. could be? coz why is Johann happy. could it be, that Tower of Terror will have a Tag Team Title shot? or a raise of Salary?

it’s not tragic.. but as far as Dan’s wrestling story.. they’re okay.. but I hope next time it will be “Tragic”Â

Basically “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini and “GoDDess” “UltraBOOBS” Brooke Lennox didn’t do well in this match..
here’s one question?
let’s say if Zombie Luna didn’t used that steelchair to hit “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, but it used on Brooke and Lover Lola pinned Brooke like on episode 138.. can Sabrina still save Brooke? or can Brooke kickout?

Why is Brooke angry when the whole world saw her Boobs? wrestling using a hanging cloth, and not tightly strap.. come on! I kinda thought Brooke like to expose her body to the whole world..

what could it be? could it be alliance, Sabrina and Sun. Brooke and Krystin? chaos in the upstart girls apartment, I mean I mean a brawl in the apartment.

I’d say Brooke won that argument about as much as the Upstarts won the wrestling match…Â Sabrina wasn’t particularly beaten. She just refused to argue any further.
But thus argument in itself is rather interesting, as it shows that all is not well and dandy between Brooke and Sabrina. I expect that after this experience, Sabrina will move somewhat away from Brooke and even closer to Sun – including taking it more seriously than before when Sun warns her about Brooke being up to something.
Just look at the change in inter-personal dynamics from the Rookie Rumble to now:
In the fatal fourway, the Upstarts pretty much beat the crap out of each other. But in the end, they were still shaking hands and hugging.
In this Match, Brooke and Sabrina technically won together, but here they are arguing and calling each other names.
I guess Brooke exposed a lot more of her real character to Sabrina than she ought to.
Comments on the aftermath:
Well, Brooke’s job is safe, if only on a technicality. A DQ win isn’t much of a victory when it’s the other side who are standing tall while you’re the one slinking off licking your wounds. It definitely does seem like the win/loss record isn’t that important to the Towers, so long as they go out and smash stuff. Which fits a niche in the world of wrestling… the monsters who just want to hurt people and don’t really care about rules or titles. I think they accomplished exactly what they intended to, and to them a loss by DQ isn’t a loss at all.
As for the Upstarts… well, no mending bridges, and a few burned. Brooke really has no one to blame but herself for how things worked out. Picking a costume that’s clearly not designed to hold up to any kind of stress? Check. Taking a flippant attitude going in and expecting Sabrina to carry the match… against a pair of monster heels? Check. And blaming Sabrina for the embarassment which was in no way her fault? Check.
The ONE thing that may come of this in the end is that Sabrina may be wising up to the fact that Brooke’s superficial friendliness goes by the wayside as soon as things don’t go her way.
Oh joy. DQ win. Still, I have to agree with MGC’s panel by panel here. Great work out there tonight? What?
Yes, I’m familiar with wrestlers and tag teams that work that way. Public Enemy for instance. As Rocco Rock said “The one that goes through the table is the one that loses the match.”
Still… Sabrina and Brooke were in pretty good shape after. They didn’t even need the ref to be sure they weren’t hurt, much less a call to medical. That’s not much of a ‘great work’ for abusing someone. I smell a ‘hitman’ team out of those two suddenly instead of just a pair that likes beat down. I think someone, like the jerk that Brooke was doing so recently, asked them to make sure they lost so Brooke could keep her job. They just did it by DQ instead of by letting themselves get beat.

The way the manager said “great work” makes me think it was some sort of dive, not a figerpoke-o-doom type dive but the deliberate DQ. If Brooke and Sabrina were still laid out it could be played off as “sending a message” but the way they got back up…
Interesting theory, Allen. Sadly we MAY never know for sure but definitely interesting.
MGC, I’m glad that you enjoyed the chapter! Don’t worry none about Brooke, she’s a tough broad. She was down for a while, but she’s alright again. I don’t know why, but there’s something crazy funny about a referee getting pasted with a chair! Ahahaha! Never can tell why the Towers do what they do, but they sure were happy with themselves at the end of this. I don’t know that we’ll see any tragedy soon, but drama….you can bet on it.
Good read there JackAce, all’s not well with the Upstart girls particularly between Sabrina and Brooke. You got some good ideas on where this might go, though I can say that things at the Rookie house may need a shaking up.
Adon, one good point after another! I’m glad you picked up on those things as its going to set up the immediate future.
Salazen, you and I both know that DQ would be a preferred way of losing say, over a pinfall or submission. But Sabrina and Brooke are pretty tough, especially when someone’s not beating on them so them walking out on their own power hopefully, isn’t too much of a stretch.

Good points Double M! At the end of the day, the Towers are probably more interested in the beatdown than in win-loss records. Its hard to think that they didn’t have the win until Zombie Luna went kind of crazy and chairshotting everyone. And they did leave Sabrina and Brooke laid out in the ring, only after they were on their way to the back did the Upstart girls get it together again. I do see your point that if the damage was more severe to Brooke and Sabrina it could’ve meant more especially to the Towers, but their part is over the time being as we get ready to confront a certain long running issue that’s been going on for the last 50 pages or so.
Oooh, a DQ win. Yeah, Ultragirl’s win streak continues, but I think that in this match the Towers of Terror proved to be a better tag team. Then again, Brooke just basically threw Sabrina out as bait… not very teamwork-y. “Freak, slut, prude… *sigh*” Brooke wins by last word! 😀 But I bet Sabrina was thinking: “I don’t need to take this from her” and just ended it with a sigh.
And something tells me that the Towers’ manager is about to get chairshotted by Zombie Luna if he keeps blabbering. XD
You’d think someone her size wouldn’t need a weapon, or at least use one with a bit more size to it.
Hey Ray! I’m glad you enjoyed the post match going ons! Ha ha! The Towers of Terror are definitely the better tag team and I think they showed that. But Brooke and Sabrina are young, they got time to get it together. Then again, Brooke’s not been very good as a tag team partner as evidenced by her teaming up with Krystin and Sabrina. But as far as last words go, Brooke’s the queen!
ManiacM, that’s the whole point with someone of the mindset of Luna; she’s big enough and bad enough that she doesn’t have to use a weapon but she uses one because she can.
I get that but a Steel Chair? Feels so generic. Would have expected her to at least be weilding a trash can, maybe the steel steps.
I hear ya…the chair was just handy to use as it was already in the ring from their double team move. Â I think Luna was going to get rid of it and then though, ‘Naaaaah, I’ll just nail She-Ra over here….’ Â In the future, maybe a kendo stick or stop sign. XD
