Well, put that way, it would seem that Sun and Sabrina brought this on themselves, with the consolation that the fans seem to enjoy them as a team. Their individual singles careers and goals will just have to wait. And it’s not like they could deny what Gabrielle was laying at their feet, but it seems that for now, this is the solution. So, what are the long-term goals and prospects for Ultradragon?

Hope to see a lot of 1 on 1 fights: well that will be mostly of the other girls for a while ;-).
One on one is good and so is tag team. The real question is do those two know how to be a tag team. Fighting together and fighting as a team can be two different things.
I think they can they have a great synergy and they have tag teamed successfully before. I’m not saying they don’t have a lot to learn as a tag team BUT they will be a formidable team I think.
True. Would love to see Sabrina & Sun vs The Cat Girls ;-).
Rematch vs Black & Blue will also be very interesting :).
Sun and Sabrina are in tag team action for now, but Krystin has every intention of maintaining her TV title reign. Brooke could go tag, but she’s got other plans.

I still say that since both Sabrina & Sun won their match, even though it was switched form a singles to a tag. So with that, Sabrina stays in RAW & Sun gets her title match with Brenda.

I think Sun had to beat Sabrina for that clause to kick in. But, you never know. Yvonne might have some ideas.
There is no reason they can’t do both. I see no real conflict of interest but then again Albone might be looking for a more challenging drawing thing.
In the mean time I will volunteer myself and Rose to teach them. Evil grin.

I have to admit, I DO like the idea of showcasing the tag division as well as some of the other characters that haven’t gotten a lot of time.

Gabrielle has an interesting office. I wonder what the certificates are for. Chicago Wrestling School of Hard Knocks with a major in delivering pain and anguish?
One of those is from Evil Medical School. Gabi can call herself Doctor Strappy Italian Boots, but chooses not to.

At the moment, it sounds to me like UltraDragon’s long-term goals involve the smoking charred husk of some Strappy Italian Boots. And then ice cream. And maybe a sleepover and pillow fight with the Catgirls. But that last one is probably someone else’s goal for them. <__>

Oh my goodness! Breaking the certificate like that show major lack of control and immaturity. It will have consequences to Sun for a long time to come.

“A valuable lesson in what?” Putting there friendship first instead of Gabriele’s petty desire to see them go at it like animals?
If I were those two I’d work on making us the best and unbeatable tag team champions ever. That way we could stick it to Gabriel for trying to make this into a punishment.
The lesson is to see if they can follow directions without a clear cut deadline. Gabrielle’s point is that sometimes you have to do stuff you don’t want to but you still gotta do it.
However, it’s up to them if they want to embrace the opportunity or not.

The correct response is to respond in a way that will keep you your job. Especially one which keeps you well-paid and in the public eye.
don’t forget sun and sabrina are still just barely out of their rookie year (if that) in the big leagues so they wouldn;t really have a lot of pull in any other ..um… rival…organizations as far as getting a better deal if they were to leave RA.
*THIS* was the last straw for you? Well then I heartfelt say, thank you for reading this far. This is the start of a new chapter in their lives so not a bad time to be done.
I am a little confused though. Their refusal of Gabrielle’s demand “go dark… and find some other wrestlers who don’t mind cheating and backstabbing?” Sun and Sabrina reluctantly agreed to be a tag team, that’s about it and Ultradragon has always been over with the fans, something paramount to Gabrielle as we’ve seen since about page 7 or so.
As to WHY Sun and Sabrina acquiesced…even they realize that their actions, right or wrong, carry consequences and meta-speaking, our protagonists need challenges and obstacles to grow and accepting responsibility/challenges is a step in that direction. It is really too early to say how well they’ll do.
Gabrielle Derangement Syndrome in full effect…
They won’t like it. But at least they’ll still be stars and draw a paycheck!
There are a lot of tag team wrestlers who say they never wanted to be in a team until they saw some success as one. Sun and Sabrina DO have individual goals they have, but they’ll do it..for as long as they’re told to…or as long as they…can?
No, I’m not convinced. I still think it’s not nearly as bad as it could have been. Remember when Shawn Michaels had to work for JBL? Or when Cena was in The Nexus? Or how about all the times Vince made mad unfair matches to try to break somebody just because he’s the boss? Gabrielle could have made Sabrina join Hell’s Belles and told all parties involved to like it. She could have told then UltraDragon could be a thing, but only as part of Damage Inc. She even could have gone off the deep end and put Sabrina against the combined forces of Hell’s Belles and Damage Inc. in either a Gauntlet match or an 8-on-1 Handicap match. But she didn’t. She instead decided the best course of action was to reunite The Upstarts and give the fans more UltraDragon as their own tag team. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse.
