So, how about that deal that has Cocoa giving up her BRA title to compete for a chance at the Rival Angel belt? And Gabrielle brings up a good point that if she wins, both Brenda and Camille will have to watch out.
The idea of Cocoa giving up her belt in one organization to compete in another isn’t new. Champions from Invicta, for instance have to relinquish their belt if they want to fight in the UFC, like Angela Hill, Tonya Evanger and most notably, Cris Cyborg had to.

Clever wording from the Boss. Cocoa has to be consider herself pretty lucky to get a rare chance like this.
This is the definition of High Risk/High Reward for Cocoa. You can see in panel 3 that everyone is pretty sour, despite the opportunity.
I think it will be interesting to see her fighting without the BRA.
She’s Brazilian. It is very common on the beaches there. Ees normal.

Oh that’s clever. Poach BRA’s champion, potentially drive a wedge between the Three Fates, keep blondie in the mix without showing favoritism, and not have all her chips on Brenda. Gabrielle is the real hero of Rival Angels.
You have a wonderful topography inside of Gabrielle’s head. 😀 Gabrielle has been known to turn lemons into Egyptian Cotton. Also, ‘stick it to Atlas where it hurts,’ is Sub-heading A under ‘Poach BRA’s champion.’
Anyway, still not really sold on all this on a conceptual level, but….
It is one of those very easy things to just backburner while enjoying the comic as it progresses.
So with some amusement, to followup on ue: Here is to seeing a lot of a BRA-less Cocoa in the climax.

Cocoa is very YOLO, so long term doesn’t really play into it. Until it does.
Too bad dramatic irony is in play here and we know who’s winning.
