Chapter 03-Page 21-Reunite
Brooke won! Much to the horror of Angel Soprano and Hell’s Belles and that means that Brooke has one more person on her hitlist. Can Brooke take the war to Kat?
In bigger news, hell has frozen over and Sun has forgiven Krystin. Or is Sun really a Cylon? But if it’s one thing, forgiveness is one thing, forgetting it is a whole other thing, but but for now, Brooke was super quick with volunteering her roommates into her latest promotional gig. What could go wrong with the Upstarts attending the Red Carpet Premiere of a movie with the title, GIRAFFEICANE? Sounds like a movie involving a hurricane and…giraffes?

Here I thought what would save the day would be Brooke’s social networking skills. While the Upstarts did even the score, in the end what saved the day was Brooke’s… competence… and hard… work.
Wow. Ever have a sentence that just didn’t feel right as it came together?
Yeah, I was also expecting a cheerleader assist but hey not everything is directly connected – karma works its own way.
As surprising as it was, I hope it was still satisfying of a finish.
Satisfying? Brought a tear to me eye. Watching the Upstarts fight together again, and Brooke managed to hold her own with cunning and tenacity. Our little girl didn’t have much problem growing up physically, but it seems her attitude and her talents are starting to catch up.
The promotion of Girafficane is a bit of a step backward, mind, but not too bad, all things considered. At least it’s not Piranhanami.
That’s a surprisingly slick reversal from Brooke.
Also, I’m surprised at Sun. I thought she’d hold a grudge WAY better than that.
That’s the training kicking in! Brooke doesn’t even know how she did it!
As for Sun, she’s thinking of the long game. Because it’s not just her who has the grudge and others aren’t as good at maintaining grudges as well as she is. They get all over the place, out of sorts, blowing up.

She Won her match and the girls are back together again.
However, will the other Upstarts be able to win their own matches tonight after helping Brooke out ?
Brooke has had a busy chapter hasn’t she? So much excitement and they still have Girraficane to look forward to. XD
Great question concerning Krystin, Sabrina and Sun because they have some crazy hard matches coming up. Hope they left something in the tank!

Also, told you, Angel. It’s one of the problems with bringing your opponent up on your shoulders like that. Leaves you wide open for the Crucifix.
She thought she had Brooke down and out, especially after that right cross. Goes to show you that Brooke’s head is harder than thought.
I’d like to see the dynamics of that transition. I expected more like a flying crucifix pin, less the flying part of course since she was already up. Well nicely done Brooke. And you too Albone hehee
We’re on the same page, jie-jie. Or for Brooke to hook the rope so Angel couldn’t drop her then turn it into a roll-up or reversal.
Crucifix was the obvious choice but I wanted to change it up a little. As for the dynamics of the move, Jeff said it best, ‘SHE’S WIGGLING!’

Mo Chen is not much on luck but against Callie? I’m hoping I’ve banked some good karma.
Kat vs Brooke already? Feels far too early for that, and Brooke isn’t ready.
Sun and Krystin being friends again? I don’t think that will last. Krystin’s secret will come out eventually and Sun always felt like the one to unleash it.
Brooke might not be ready, but it’ll be coming next chapter. Kat’s okay with it.
Sun has bigger things right now, like getting a win to get a title opportunity, so she can get the first third out of the way in her quest to be the first ever, Triple Crown Champion.
Also, this doesn’t feel like the last time Brooke will face Angel. The ending makes it feel like a fluke win.
Brooke looks a lot closer to ready for a match with Kat than she did a couple pages ago. From here, it’s all about prep. I just happen to know that there’s at least one person modifying Brooke’s training program based on her performance here. Someone who wouldn’t mind seeing Kat get a nasty surprise or two…
Oh, forgot to add – a win against the newest member of the Belles while the Belles were attacking at ringside and got driven off by the babyface’s friends, with the heel’s finisher getting countered into a pin? That’s as decisive as a match gets in the middle of a babyface-vs-stable feud. At least, that’s the case when the writing is good. You don’t need a clean finisher-to-pin win in this scenario, or particularly want it. The underlings are just obstacles between the protagonist and the antagonist leader. Variety in how the match plays out keeps the feud interesting.
Giraffeicane sounds like the best movie ever.
Just wait til it comes out. 😉
And the Soprano name has forever been tarnished. Things haven’t been the same ever since Tony got whacked. Now Angel’s a jobber for life. Can’t wait for Cote to become the new de Sade, reform Hell’s Belles, and put Angel out of her misery. But that probably won’t happen until Sabrina gets too big for her britches.
Isn’t this like the 50th time the Upstarts are getting along? what dramatic BS will split them up this time?
