Wow, that didn’t take long for it to degenerate into the proverbial, ‘Pier Six Brawl.’  And the real losers right now are Luna and Amanda Breaker.  Their size makes them a target in the eyes of the smaller wrestlers, well, smaller than them anyways.  Panel 1 is a fairly good microcosm of the attitudes and traits of all 10 ladies in the ring.  Take that for what its worth.

Is the Battle Royal shaping up like *you* thought?  We’ve barely started so there’s still a lot that can happen.  While some of these girls are working together now, there can be only one winner.

And for anyone that might need a bit more clarification on how a battle royal works, I give you, straight from wikipedia , the definition of a battle royal:
In professional wrestling, a battle royal (sometimes battle royale; plural battles royal or battle royals is a multi-competitor match type in which wrestlers are eliminated until one is left and declared winner. Typical battle royals begin with 10,15, 20 participants in the ring, who are then eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and having both feet touch the venue floor.

Back at the Rookie House, and just as Brooke realizes the scope of the situation, an unidentified blonde person shows up.  Its a safe bet that it’s Sabrina, with the silhouette mirroring her mood and demeanor.

That’s for next update though.  This update we see Brooke and Krystin return victoriously from Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago.  The ladies did some damage too coming back with bags and bags of stuff.  Seems that Rival Angels payroll is paying off.  Anyone else own a Louis Vuitton clutch?

Sharp eyed readers will be able to recognize the iconic image on the TV from The Dreamer . Sun has decided to spend her Saturday morning eating cereal and watching her favorite TV series.  Or is it a movie?    Either way, I’m a fan.

Chapter 7 , The Rival Angels Halloween Special written by Dan Head and everything else by yours truly.   I’ve known Dan for like, 5 years or something virtually and this isn’t the first time we’ve worked together so it was a lot of fun working with him again, even if its just for a little bit.  I’m sure I can talk him into doing some more Rival Angels again in the future.

It was hard trying to line this up so that it would fall around Halloween, and its going to run a little over, I hope you’ll forgive me.

For those that haven’t guessed, Sabrina is dressed as She-Ra, Princess of Power!! Yes, I know some of you guessed it, you’re very smart.  Brooke, I don’t blame anyone for not guessing that she’s dressed as a variation of the new Mary Marvel .  Yes, the wholesome good girl gone bad.  No need to read into anything here with Brooke and dressing as a bad Mary Marvel.  Great nod to Justin Riley (of the Rival Angels booking team ) for the suggestion here though I took it upon myself to alter Mary Marvel’s costume to reflect Brooke’s attitude.  So, what do you all make of their costumes?

Brooke’s attitude is a little worrying considering that she needs a win in this match to keep her job.  Maybe she’s hoping that Sabrina does all the heavy lifting?  Or maybe, if she looks fabulous enough, that will be enough for her to keep her job, win or lose?  Or both?  Neither?  We’ll have to keep reading to find out methinks…
