It was Sun after all!!! Oh wait, you already knew that, didn’t you? I really didn’t fake anyone out with talk to the contrary?
‘Character’ is revealed under pressure and here we see how these young women react to a sticky situation. Chloe can’t get out of their fast enough even though they had Sun and Sabrina outnumbered 4 to 2. That’s right, you didn’t forget about Angel Soprano did you? That double teaming by Sun and Sabrina wasn’t long enough for some and from the looks of things, we might not see it again for some time. That’s a tremendous height that the stage is up on and that’s a cement floor that Sun is falling on to, one that a plucky attitude isn’t going to overcome on it’s own. Chloe might be outraged that Sun was beating on her but you have to think that she’s all smiles inside by being able to hurt both Sun and Sabrina with one little shove.

Some of you have guessed this coming and here it is. Angel Soprano, the winner of the Bonus Life Battle Royal and by winning that, earned a way back into the tournament. You might remember (or click the link and see) that this is how Angel operates. She waits for her opponents to wear each other out and then strike. She quite literally picked her exact spot to enter this match and this is now a triple threat match. Though, by the looks of things this match is all but over. Last update, Sabrina looked like she had the match won by getting Xtina to tap, but that seems like an eternity ago. Xtina’s in no shape to break up the pinfall and the only thing the fans can do is express their frustration and unhappiness.
Here’s a quick 4-second YouTube clip of the Killshot:
At the end of 2009, Lora Innes created a non-profit group dedicated to shining a bright light on human trafficking (aka slavery). She got a bunch of webcomic creators together to draw a girl from their cast and she would assemble into a single wallpaper. 87 creators later and there’s a snazzy wallpaper gift for your donation. Without further ado, I will let Lora take it from here:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” -Margaret Mead
Monday, January 11th is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. To participate, we formed the Comic Creator’s Alliance–a group of over eighty comic book creators (both web and print) who volunteered our artistic talents to raise money and awareness for this cause. You may not know it, but there are currently 27 million enslaved people worldwide- more than double the number of enslaved Africans during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. UNICEF estimates that 1.2 million children every year are sold into slavery, most of it sexual. The US Department of Justice estimates 16,000 victims of human trafficking are brought into the United States every year. Unlike slavery in the 19th century, what is happening today is happening in secret. So it won’t end until awareness is raised, and people like you and me take a stand.
So here’s what we did: each creator contributed an original drawing of one of our own female characters, and combined them into a single wallpaper image. The wallpaper features characters from The Phoenix Requiem, Girls with Slingshots, Earthsong, Looking for Group, Shadowgirls, The Uniques and four IDW Publishing titles: Fallen Angel, The Dreamland Chronicles, Love and Capes and The Dreamer, and lots, lots more! Donate today to download this unique, once-in-a-lifetime wallpaper. The Donations Drive will last for two weeks, from January 11th – 24th. All proceeds will be split evenly between Love146 and Gracehaven House- two organizations working on rehabilitation of victims and prevention of this crime.

Sara’s been fighting mostly on the defensive this match. This shouldn’t be too surprising. Krystin’s work ethic and skill set are greater than Sara’s. Sara has her experience and the benefit of a match (schoolyard brawl) that favors her but she’s still having trouble with the ‘rookie.’ And because of such a rough and exciting match, the fans are warming up to Krystin and appreciating her toughness even if they don’t agree with her attitude. This match has flipped more sides than a rubicks cube! More to come on Monday!
