Today, January 11th is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Comic Creators Alliance is group of comic book creators, who have come together, volunteering their artistic talents to raise money for the purpose of ending human trafficking aka slavery in the world today.

Everyone involved, myself, Lora Innes, Scott Sava (The Dreamland Chronicles), Adam Hughes (Star Wars, Wonder Woman), Sarah Ellerton (Inverloch), Bryan Glass & Victor Santos (Mice Templar), Beau Smith (Wynonna Earp: The Yeti Wars), Billy Tucci (Shi), Mookie (Dominic Deegan), Crystal Yates (Earthsong), Thom Zahler (Love and Capes), and Alison Action (Bear Nuts) have donated art to form a single image, both for download or available as a print.

Last year at this time, Lora Innes created the Comic Creators Alliance to fight the growing problem of Human Trafficking aka slavery. It’s a secret problem that most people don’t realize is going on–in the world at large and yes, here in the United States and in Milwaukee. Human Trafficking is a sanitized term that simply means slavery. UNICEF estimates there are 27 million slaves in the world today– that is more than twice the number during the entire Trans-Atlantic Slave trade in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today most of victims are young women, sold into forced prostitution.

Donate today to download this unique, once-in-a-lifetime wallpaper. Or, this year you can also buy a print! The Donations Drive will last for two weeks, from January 11th – 24th. All proceeds will be split evenly between Love 146 and Gracehaven House– two organizations working on rehabilitation of victims and prevention of this crime.
