CALLED IT! I was about 80% sure, but as soon as you said I was “reaching,” I knew this HAD to be coming in this update!

YES! Who cares what happens between Maddie and Michael now, I’m more concerned with how fired Brooke is for starting the chain of events that lead to this. There had to have beend SOMEONE somewhere who watched this begin.

I can’t help but notice the sound effect. “SPLUTT!” Just a couple letters fewer, and the cake would be announcing what it had been hit with! Mr Ogre, is that some sort of culinary technique I’m unaware of?
Still loving it. Sun timed her arrival just right – she got a good view of the crowning moment!
And she avoided getting cake on her. The bride and groom on the other hand can’t avoid getting hit. So now the question if they are at the reception does that mean the vows have been taken?
Cakes, being the drama queens that they are, are very hard to fool.
Anytime there’s a cake on a wrestling show, there’s a 100% chance that the heel is ending up facedown in it. Anytime there’s a wedding on a wrestling show, there’s a 100% chance a fight breaks out. Brooke and Sabrina, living the gimmick.

I know the perfect punishment for those two. They should be made to wear bikini’s and wash cars.

It can be hard to fight across the yard into a building and find the cake.
This is sooo not going to be good for Brina at least the fall out isn’t.
I don’t think Albone will have Sabrina fall out now. He’s been keeping both of them well tucked in.
I do like how the escalation showed a bit of development of character for Sabrina.
She was chill- walk away first, hit back second, and then snapped. Where at the start of the comic- with her first Brookie smack down- she was hit first, snap second.
I HOPE the fact Sabrina has been a favored golden girl plays in her favor and Brooke gets no last punches. Yes, there will be consequences, as there should be, but hoping they are at most “slap Sabrina with a bill/fine or a tap on the wrist reprimand” and Brooke gets most of the shit end. Cuz if Michael gets it in his head to play favorites to Brookie, there is no more keeping it “quiet” about him and Brooke and Gabby better give them both hell because damn that shit. Michael should know better and Brooke is a shitty wrestler.
And Maddie better use this to remind Brooke of her “place” and regain some shred of dignity in this rather than “siding” with Brooke in the “War Against Sabrina”. Just saying…..

Darn you and your amazing splash page of the cake being destroyed! You know I remember when Maddie found Michael, Gabrielle was right there when she seemed to be laying down the law. Not that she didn’t know what was going on. So I’m sure she knows the dirt. Though provoked horridly, Sabrina needs to work on this better. Also, the De’Sade cow thoughts and stay down. Should echo loud in her ears. There’s still a lot of growing to do. This isn’t even good practice fight, as this is a messy fight. My guess, with the cake destroyed, Brooke in the cake, Sabrina realizes the damage they have done. Maddie’s wedding needs a do over, with a new groom.
/mourns the loss of what would have no doubt been a very tasty cake. even Sun in the background is a bit torn between the “uh-oh Brina’s in trouble”(she did miss the start after all) vs. “ha ha Brooke-cakeface!”
clearly by the VI we’re missing Nelson just out of the picture pointing at Brooke and going “HA!HA!”
Indeed, great page. Do have the uncomfortable worry Maddie is going to continue in the Brooke lackey-wanna-be, despite their recent set to, but we’ll see.
Hopefully she’s got a smidge of pride. Of course, while the story would come out later she is seeing Sabrina be the one to ruin her cake. Might be only later she apologizes when folk make clear Brooke started things and then tackled Sabrina through the doors into the hall (and that’ll be a nice additional charge to remember it all by.)
It’s a good thing they don’t serve ice cream with wedding cake. There could be frostbite.
man good wedding fight i must say.. i bet thats gonna cause some trouble when it hits youtube. my only problem is theyre in a pretty nice area with lots of rich folk, the cops would have responded 4 mins -before- the fight started! lol
war: i would have lost it too if someone had dropped me on head and neck.. thats not hah hah take that.. thats oh look i ruined your career and you cant walk again… even dumb dumb brooke knew it was bad.. thats when sabrina went nuts imo which makes sense with albone crafting very well sabrina’s new found championship goals. we got to see how touch she really is and that is fantastic.
Looks like Brooke has some egg on her face, and milk, flour, fondant, and all the other ingredients that went into making that cake. Good call by pretty much everyone here, predicting that the cake would not survive the fight
Not criticizing your art, Albone-san, well, not criticizing your choices anyway, but I have to say – that cake really suits the Michael-Maddy wedding in that it seems to have been hollow inside. I’m seeing lots of frosting flying around, some bits that could be cake exterior, but no cake innards. Cakes, especially wedding cakes, have a LOT of inside to them. But yeah, that forceful a splat would have covered the screen with them.
Anyway, I’m willing to bake a replacement for them, but it will be less tacky-looking and it won’t come cheap at all given the rush. Even if I do have everything I need conveniently sitting around here. 
I think Brooke landed on top of most of it, chest first (how fitting).
Sad thing is, no matter how the fight started, and even with Maddie’s black eye from Brooke – Gabrielle is going to take it out of both their hides since this is going to publicly embarrass the company.
I love the flying bride and groom. Symbolism for their upcoming divorce? ^.^

To bad it was a cash bar. Seriously, can’t it be open for at least one hour! I mean who know’s this fight may have never happened if there was a bit more drink, then again that could have made it worse…(what does drink do to you…happy polite person who over enunciates her words)

Albone, you NEVER poo-poo guesses. When you did, I knew immediately that I’d nailed it. Stick with your usual ‘maybes’, and you’d have kept me wondering! ‘Course, in this case, there was just too much pointing this way. Cake was DOOMED!
Vekara’s point about sounding like Chloe is interesting. I know I’ve found myself using language like people I dislike. Especially if I REALLY dislike them. Thing is, though, it doesn’t imply any real similarity, once you really start thinking about it. Brooke being called a cow? Justifiable. Should Brooke have stayed down? Absolutely. She was the attacker, and if she’d taken the moment on her backside to reflect and realize that she’d started a fight that was both needless and unlikely to go in her favor, she could have apologized and made an attempt to salvage the rather unsteady friendship. So just because Sabrina’s found herself sounding like De Sade once, I hope she doesn’t freak out over it too much.
Also, couldn’t disagree with Jenny more. Sabrina’s doing what she has to do to put punctuation on the fight, take it out of Brooke. Tunnel vision in a good fight is like that, and nothing gets you there like getting dropped on your head. Besides, Sabrina already knows that Brooke is Michael’s mistress, so planting her in the wedding cake is just plain appropriate.
I’m hoping there isn’t much long term fall out for Brina she tried two times to walk away. Not once but twice. I’m just hoping things don’t go too badly for her. As for Brooke yeah I wash my hands of her she’s shown that she’s incapable of growing as a person and wrestler.
Man come on, I love Brina a million. I’m not saying it’s a jerk move for her to throw BROOKE through the cake, I’m saying it’s a jerk move for her to throw Brooke through the CAKE. Even if she knows the marriage is a disaster, she’s still a guest at somebody’s wedding and deliberately went out of her way to destroy part of the production.
I disagree. If you’re attacked at a wedding as a consequence of the couple’s romance drama, feel free to smash as much wedding-related stuff as is necessary when stomping the crap out of the person who attacked you.
