Comic Creator’s Alliance

A group of webcomic creators, who have come together, volunteering artistic talents to raise money for the purpose of ending human trafficking in the world today in the Comic Creator’s Alliance. There are currently 27 million enslaved people worldwide- more than double the number of enslaved Africans during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. UNICEF estimates that 1.2 million children every year are sold into slavery, most of it sexual. The US Department of Justice estimates 16,000 victims of human trafficking are brought into the United States every year.
The live date for the CCA is January 11th and is the day that donations will be accepted to help fight slavery. I thought I’d bring it up again so that with all of the Christmas shopping you’re doing, it’d be great if you saved a little bit for the cause and in the process, get you the awesome jam wallpaper that 70+ artists are contributing too. It’s going to be a great year guys, and this is a superb way to start it.
