Voting Incentive!
It’s the start of a new month, so it’s crazy important to get a good start on the TWC. It’s important because other webcomic readers spot Rival Angels in the rankings and check us out. SHIMMER Fall Show
Back in November, I was able to attend the latest Shimmer show and it was amazing. If you don’t know SHIMMER it’s the very best women’s wrestling federation and I had front row tickets! The action even spilled into our part of the audience!! So take a look at some of the great pictures I took and check out some of the great action that’s to be had at a live show. Be sure to take a look at the league itself!
Those are some professional looking pictures, very nice work. Nice catch on Hamada’s moonsault with the chair. I took a bunch of pictures, but I’m kind of a noob when it comes to anything with my digital camera. The vast majority came out either too dark or all blurry, I had to get rid of a lot, but the ones that turned out ok enough are on my Facebook. I’m most proud of the last one I snapped, of a victorious MsChif on the turnbuckle with the belt. My camera must know that I might’ve tossed it off a wall if it botched my MsChif Moment.
I easily took 4X as many pics (hundreds!) but I wanted to keep it manageable. That chair moonsault was crazy! I can’t wait to use that in Rival Angels. Got to have MsChif photos, it’s a must.
Wow.. the one girl in the pink and black.. her tattoo is GORGEOUS.. full waist/small.. wow.. A++ on that.. wow.
Drew, that would be the wonderful and talented, Mercedes Martinez. She’s super awesome and always puts on brilliant matches. She’s really nice and fun in person too.
Mercedes is definitely a quality wrestler. I let my friend borrow my Shimmer DVDs as he’s never seen it before and he said he really digs on her. Well, her and Cheerleader Melissa. But I wouldn’t understand any wrestling fan who doesn’t like Cheerleader Melissa.

Oh, by the way, Albone, I went to the Ring of Honor show last night and at the afterparty Dave Prazak noticed my Shimmer 4th Anniversary shirt. He tells me he’s trying to set up where the next Shimmer show will be in April, the Sunday after ROH, and he wants to book the Frontier Fieldhouse where ROH always performs cause they always sell out the Eagles Room and they aren’t making enough money.
I actually went to ROH last January and thought it was a great show and great venue. They had plenty of room too. (I also saw McChif, Daize, Rain with her purse dog and Hornswoggle). I bet if they booked a show there, they’d do pretty well. I know I’ll see you there!
Christie Ricci is pretty good too. She does a good job of sellin and her actings spot on.
I would LOVE to see her live. I guess she’s been at SHIMMER but I’ve gone the last few years and haven’t seen her there. From what I’ve seen, she’s an awesome worker.
She’s got stuff on her site up for download. I think she’s just touring various promotions right now.
