Research is tellling me that apparently, Penn State was the only college to have its own pro wrestling promotion, and a professor taught a class in pro wrestling history there, making it even more coincidential that the main character of a wrestling comic went to school there.

Fun fact: Penn State had a Pro Wrestling club that ran a promotion called Nittney Valley Wrestling on campus for a number of years.Â It later became affiliated with the popular Philadelphia indy promotion CHIKARA Pro Wrestling, which put on a few shows there.
