If you’re a fan of Sun or Sabrina, you’ll like this page. Lots of love from the fans, even if it’s under duress. The return of the NINJA’D Mist!
If you don’t know what Sabrina is talking about when she calls Franchesca and Josephine York, ‘Crimson Twins,’ it’s a GI Joe reference. 
We all know that Sun is keeping a secret from Sabrina and we already have the first signs of it coming out in panel 5. It’s just a matter of whether the Yorks continue to banter with the Upstart girls or not.
I began writing Rival Angels in the Summer of 2007 and I can tell you that I’ve been looking forward to this teaming of Sabrina and Sun since then. Rival Angels has many themes and friendship is a strong one.
Work on the graphic novel is almost done. Not a moment too soon, if I want to have it for Wizard World Chicago. That bike incident threw a wrench in the works, but its looking like I’ll make the deadline. I’ll be posting some pre-order information soon and all of the goodies that it will entail.

Sun: “Other? Which other? Both are blonde!”
Sabrina: “Oh well, details… let me slap one, she’ll turn red… I’ll take that one. You handle the other.”
Sun: “Deal!”

just be careful of the switch a roo tactics.. basham brothers did it well,I don’t know if the Quebecer did it in the past.
I like Sabrina and Sun to win, but.. I don’t know.. I just have bad feeling on Sun, that she’ll might get pin.. I mean, York Sisters double team and finished off Sun. and Sun will lose.. I don’t know.. just a funny feeling.
Hehee I like the idea of the slap, MGC. Of course dragon mist would mark pretty well too. And the York sisters should be thank she’s not at cat!

Good intro for the pair, especially the very old school DXÂ feel of the first pose.
As for what was said… I have a feeling the mist trick was a last second idea. At least like that. I think it was going to be an intro corner pose type thing and Sabrina suggested the slight split up and trick with it. Otherwise, they would have kept together to the ring. It just didn’t feel right for Sabrina to leave Sun behind on the way in until I thought of it that way.
Love the mist. Shades of Great Kabuki and, for moe even moreso, The Great Muta. I know others did it too, but I always think of Muta when I see the mists.
If panels 2 and 3 were reversed, I’d know what they’d be saying.
“Sun, don’t bite the fans.”
“But…”
“We like the fans. The fans make us look awesome. Bite the York Sisters instead.”
“….fine.”
Hmmm..

Sabrina said to Sun “look! it’s the wonder twin.”
Sun said to Sabrina “no Brina! more like Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus to me.”
Sabrina said to Sun “you’re right Sunshine! and the Moon and Venus will expirience elipse of Sun and the Planet Ultrakick invasion.”
Sun said to Sabrina “haha! hope they won’t do the wonder twin power activate thing, so anoyying!”
You’re a GI Joe fan, MGC? Â Cool! Â Then you got the reference that Sabrina was talking about.
 Sun getting pinned would be bad all around.  And it might happen that way.  LOL at what you wrote went down in panel 2.  Hilarious!
Jul, it’s a deep, dark secret that only Dragons know. Â Sun’s lucky to be able to do it since she’s ‘Lil’ Dragon. Â Awesome conversation for panel 2! Â The slap would clash with their outfits.
Hey Champ! Â This is the main event of the evening, so expect thrills, chills and daring heroics with a twist or two along the way.
Salazen, I’m glad you dig the entrance. Â It was a lot of fun to do. The mist is definitely an homage to the Great Muta. Â He was awesome. Â And you’re right about their entrance. Â It was rehearsed to look like it was improved but it wasn’t. Â Had to include the mist in a non-cheating way.
Ha Ha Cookie Ogre! Â That’s really good. Â You captured Sabrina and Sun perfectly. XD
Like the team pose of Sabrina and Sun. I not sure about Sun rage at a fan. Hope Team od Sabrina and Sun wins. But I have a bad feeling something going to come up.

However, GI Joe always had the villians much more interesting than the heroes!
Adam B., there’s always something that comes up, isn’t there? Â Sun just has a different way of bonding with the fans.

Yeah they were Picky! Â I felt the same way, that Cobra was much cool than the Joes. Â Because I loved the good guys, I made certain switches in the different teams, especially the vehicles!
Albone, I’ve always been a fan of the villians and never had GI Joe win in my childhood. I guess I was born to root for the heels.
