Another notoriously stiff hitter was Vader in his prime... there are numerous stories about the bruises and aching from when he hammered someone in the corner. And interestingly, one of the better stories involves both Hansen and Vader... in a match between them, Hansen's lariat hit so hard it knocked Vader's eye loose from its socket. And the match*continued*, with Vader's right eye horribly swollen. That match itself was infamously brutal, with two amazingly tough men giving and receiving an amazing amount of abuse. It went to a double countout, with both fighting on the floor well after the bell.

Hansen was so stiff because he was pretty much blind and felt like he had to hit harder to make it look better. Hansen's lariat is the stuff of legends. So many "oh man, is he dead" moments have come from the Unsinkable Battleship.

I've seen Kong's backfist live and in color at the SHIMMER shows. Â She nailed this one gal pretty good and it looked like Kong was genuinely concerned. Â Lorali Lee I believe was the poor gal's name and I think she was crying after the match. Â Hansen....geez, between the chew or the lariat, it's a bad time either way.Â

I've always been impressed by those simple finishers. Yeah, I go wow at things like the Ultrasplash like anybody, but there is something to be said for that basic move that is done so well and so convincingly that nobody bats an eye when it's called a finisher. Hansen? His lariat looked like it could take your head clean off. Kong's backfist? Watch some of her matches on Youtube, and you can see why it's held with reverence.

Hey Adon, Salazen knows his stuff. Too well sometimes. :P It's hard not to notice how Jennifer is counting on Kat's help here. Like Dawn says, its a virtual two-on-one. The more they do it, they may get closer to beating Sabrina (like right now) but if they're not careful, it could backfire. The thing with Chloe, she's SO sure that the Upstarts are coming. Let's say that the Upstarts don't show up, what sort of light will that put Brooke in the eyes of Chloe? O_o And yeah, Sabrina's plan through Brooke is working. Sabrina only has to deal with two foes instead of three. Can you imagine what De sade would be up to if she were at ringside? *shudder* Ha ha! Stan Hansen's lariet was incredible. Kong's backfist is legendary too. Kat's punch isn't up there yet, but maybe like Kane? These days when he socks somebody, they're left holding their jaw.

Kieran, technically speaking, Sun is the only who didn't promise to show up at ringside. ;)

Svan, the ref is basically at his last warning with Jennifer. He won't have any patience should he find Kat guilty of any shenanigans.

Great observations Picky. Brooke like playing with fire, LOL! One of her bosses, who happens to be engaged. Oh yeah, definite open flame. Sabrina was in a bad spot from the beginning so it was always going to involved some luck. Chloe is a schemer, perhaps she's overthinking things?

ps2Kid, hopefully the match will continue!

Ha ha Prestwick, it's true about high fliers. Plus, we do know that Sabrina is a tough cookie. We'll find out very shortly if this match continues. ;)
