The distraction provided by Katherine Smith last page/panel was enough for Jen Needles to start laying the pain into Sabrina. It wasn’t enough to take the crowd out of it though and Sabrina’s able to take a breather and….blow some kisses? If this was any other wrestler, you could bet that this gesture would be a middle finger instead, and from the look on Jen’s face, its having the same effect.
Now, as we’ve seen before, Sabrina usually starts out fast but then makes a rookie mistake. Here, thanks to some outside interference, she never got a chance to get going. Can she rally back and start to take control of this match?
By the time you read this, I’ll be on my way to the first ever, Webcomics Weekend! Â There’s a ton of awesome talent going to be there and I look forward to rubbing elbows and meeting some new faces. Â If you’re going to be there, be sure to look me up.

Good thinking by Sabrina. By getting out of the ring, she could at least get some breather. Although actually it’s not such a good idea though because Kat Smith is in the ringside. She could attack Sabrina while Jennifer distract the referee.
Usually it’s the heel who use this tactic. It goes like this, the face wrestler gain the upper advantage on the opening minutes, then the heel will try to run outside and get a breather. The face will chase the heel outside and they run around the ring for a while. The heel enter the ring, followed by the face, but then the heel take advantage of the position and attack the face while he’s entering the ring. Thus the match continue with the heel dominating the face for several minutes of the match, prompting the audience to sound their support for the face so that he can break through the heel’s domination and gain the upper hand.Â
Basic ring psychology 101. LOL! Hey, as usual, I’m just sayin.
Anyway, since this is the main event and it feature the main character, I expect this match would last a bit long. Probably until the beginning of April, or until Good Friday. Â
Defintiely more of a coward heel tactic, but the kiss does make it kind of a sly, more in your face thing.Â
I really love this episode.. it’s one of my favorite episode!! Yeah!!

Compare this episode to episode 99-101.. in Episode 99-101, ”Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini gain the upperhand against Loretta Diaz.. and dominiate it until episode 103.. In Episode 192, Jennifer Needles gain the upperhand against “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini.Â
As I said in the last episode every hit is a heavy damage here.. and this episode title Onslaught..”Onslaught” indeed. maybe next episode is “Bombardment” heheheh..
Panel 1: Very nicely excecuted high knee by Jennifer Needles.. Triple H used that high for counters and his offense and it his one of the signiture moves..

another thing, I like to ask.. Panel 7.. there should be a bluebox Sabrina admitting that Jennifer is good wrestler. giving credit to Jennifer Needles, or high praising Jennifer Needles or maybe regretting it that she should have forfeit the match.. Â
I also notice Jennifer Needles really like to use ”irishwhip” and I think Jennifer Needles is more striker/brawler than a techincal wrestler..

Looks like te beginning of the end here. Needles did pretty much what I expected, skill-less brute force beating. Shes not using real moves so mush as just hitting Sabrina. Yeah, it can hurt some, but it’s not got the impact of slams not the injury potential of locks. First break Sabrina gest and she’ll turn thing around.
Doubt that? Look what happened when Needlenose whipped Ultragirl. Sabrina slides out of the ring and begins taunting. Look how angry Needles is in panel 7. Sabrina’s plan is working. I see Needles trying some sort of move to get to Sabrina, although it’s a hard call since Needles doesn’t strike me as the suicide dive sort, and Ultragirl going into the ring as Jennifer comes out. Then making Jennifer suffer for the mistake.
Too bad. So sad.
Don’t ask for whom the bell tolls… it’ll still be the Ultragirl’s victory.
Great action! You really excel at drawing the combat moves!
I’m just gonna have to keep cheering for my girl! I know Sabrina can pull out of this!

Moving out of the ring to break the momentum – a classic and highly effective move. And blowing kisses? I can just imagine Jeff’s mind wandering to his goDDess when seeing that. Excellent move on Sabrina’s part to mess with The Pin Head. Of course, Jenny girl started it by giving Sabrina a couple of love pats…

The people getting huge bonuses at AIG

Congress authorizing the bonuses a couple of months ago, and then acting shocked and outraged when they “suddenly” find out? Since it was written into the bailout bill, passed by congress and signed by the president, it is LAW. Congress passed a LAW that said those people at AIG can have the bonuses!
PS2kid and Picky, it’s true that bailing out of the ring is usually reserved for heels, I felt the need to freshen things up a bit. As you wrote PS2kid, there’s a ‘usual’ pattern that follows, and that really won’t do if I’m trying to keep things exciting. And we know that Sabrina’s not any safer out there than inside the ring, with Kat roaming around.
MGC, thanks for the kind words on the art on this page. Like I wrote above, I have to change things up to keep things entertaining. We are used to Sabrina having a fast start, but that’s when the odds have been fair.
Yeah Salazen, nice catch with Jennifer’s offensive list. She has no plan, she’s just trying to overwhelm Sabrina. With jumping out of the ring, Sabrina takes the fight out of Jen’s plan. Now what will Jen do? Or will she have Kat do something for her? I can’t really say too much more because…

Keep in mind that the “blowing kisses” can back fire. There’s a video showing a boxing match where the short guy kisses the tall guy, then the tall guy beats the snot out of the short guy. So that anger thing can go both ways…
In a way, she is safer right now. -She- went outside. She didn’t get thrown out then have Jennifer trying to follow to distract the ref. If Kat tries something, the ref will probably catch it. Plus she did it herself so she’s got to be aware of Kat at the moment.
Also, I’ve watched a lot of Mexican wrestling. There, baling from the ring is done by both faces and heels because there is so much more movement in and out there. Suicide dives. Top rope planchas. Even settons over the ring post to the floor. It’s common to see a face dive out of the ring, a heel chase, the face slide back in -as the heel follows- and then dive through the ropes again onto the heel while he’s trying to figure out how he missed.
I still see this leading to Needles being creamed. Sad part is, Sabrina is fast enough to maybe even set up Needles to take out the Wild Kat and that would just be wrong. Needles needs to be beat up. Kat is cool.
GhostEraser, I think I’ve seen the one! Â I think it was an MMA fight, during the referee instructions, the little dude gave the big dude a quick kiss and then got knocked the fuck out!
Kat rules. The Marquis is pretty awesome too. Just because I like Sabrina doesn’t mean all my heel supporting tendencies have left me. I just cheer for the cool heels. I’ll leave the cheerleader heels for the others to annoy. You just know that Jennifer Needles is the sort of heel that would tell people cheering for her that she doesn’t need them… well I just know it anyway. You’d be the expert on what your girls are like.
Yeah, Jen is a ‘good’ heel in that she doesn’t try to be cool with the fans, ala nWo. Â She genuinely does not like you. XD Â Naturally, I love my share of good heels too, Orton, Edge, Jericho, James Storm and Scott Steiner come to mind. Â Glad you like Kat too, I find her the most interesting Belle.
