Rival Angels Page 173-Aphrodite

Some of you may have wondered where Brooke was last update. Well, wonder no longer, she’s back and with a new wrestling personality! According to Wikipedia, Aphrodite “is the classical Greek goddess of love and beauty.” Clearly, Brooke thinks she meets those requirements.

Brooke…er, Aphrodite’s rediscovered her Australian accent along with her new look. She doesn’t seem to have a new attitude though, that seems unchanged. While Monica doesn’t seem happy to see Aphrodite/Brooke, it still remains to be seen whether or not she’s there as a friend or foe to Monica. What do you guys think?

In case you missed the news yesterday, I was interviewed by Indy Comic News!  It had more to do with the businessy side of things rather than the Rival Angels story.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

    So, how well will Brooke, I mean Aphrodite, handle a pissed off Monika?  It would be a poor showing for Brooke if she and her bouncing buddies get knocked out of the ring.

    Yeah, Brooke’s hot, but I don’t think the real Aphrodite would “bloomkee” – or however it’s spelled…

    If she says that she’s the most important entity in Rival Angels then only other thing to make this plot line awesome is dinosaurs!

    I reccomend Aphrodite vs the token Brit on the roster. Aussies hate the poms and Brits hate the convicts who live on the convict colony, its a fact of life…

    BOOOYAH!!! I got it right again.. hahahah.. Thank god, she didn’t wear a chain mail bikini… “Chain Mail Bikini” is only for Jennifer Needles..

    I really like the “D” Big panel of  “GoDDess” “Aphrodite” Brooke Lennox..some question though… ahh? Did Brooke did another Boob job.. I mean, I think this time, it’s bigger.. I don’t know..  I really like to hear her accent though.. hahha.. and a Thong!!.. heheh.. ahh? no entrance music for “GoDDess” “Aphrodite” Brooke Lennox?

    first things first… “GoDDess” “Aphrodite” Brooke Lennox, is she in to wrestling now? I mean dedicate her carreer, livelihood to wrestling just liek “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, Chloe De Sade are? if she isn’t.. her gimmick is same as useless.. A gimmick always a click if you put passion to it..
     
    Upstart girls small panel.. ironic isn’t it.. Sun, Krystin and Sabrina looking up on the T.V. as if they saw a GoDDess..
     
    Panel 2: why did the people boooo her? she didn’t said anything to the microphone yet? and then got a boooo..
     
    Upstarts Girls… now are only three am I right? Krystin, Sabrina and Sun… Brooke is out of it?
     
    I figure a tragic to Monica Rumble.. she doesn’t have a boyfriend, coz looking at her ah? hardly get one.. then now loss a friend in which Sabrina Mancini..
     
    Could this be some kind of promoting herself.. to the Hell’s Belles?  like I think if she did great, the Hell’s Belles will draft her instead of Angel Soprano..

    another thing about the “GoDDess” “Aphrodite” gimmick, ah? she’s Austrailian.. why use a Greek goddess.. and Aphrodite speaking in austrailian accent.. here ya gao mate!!

    MGC – I’m thinking Brooke isn’t smart enough to have used an Aboriginal name, and most folks think of exactly what she’d want them to when she says ‘Aphrodite’; the prime example of beauty.

    I gotta get ready for work so I don’t have much time.

    First reaction:

    Whoa.

    Second realization: Jeff is under some sort of mind control. I think it’s emanating from that heart shaped cutout in the GoDDess’ top. Oh, and women seem to be immune.

    I wonder if Michael had anything to do with this makeover… he does have ‘hands on’ experience to tell the costume maker how big to make the top…

    WOWZER!! *blinks…. Sheesh, i go away for a few weeks and come back to this? Hehe. Is it just me or have Brooke’s boobs gotten bigger?? Not that I’m complaining of course, just happy to see her back. Cant wait to see what new moves she has ( a few spring to mind, but thats probbaly just wishful thinking :) )

    Great page Albone, finally were getting back to ring action! And with my fave angel! WOOOOO :)

    Wow, one of the upstarts got a gimmick makeover! Nice.

    One thing that bothers me though. Brooke doesn’t hold a microphone, or even wearing a headset microphone (the one that is usually wore by Jillian if she’s singing). So how come the fans could hear her insulting them. The fans are usually very crowded and it’s hard to hear what the wrestler said without mic.

    OMG! Good Job MGC!

    I don’t know if this fixes any of her current problems though – like, you know. Being a bit of a dirty you know what. But Brooke would be the type to choose the Goddess of Love as her handle. I think GoDDess was a little more appropriate!

    Neat costume though! Better then what she wore on the Halloween one. I even dig on the red thong showing.

    Ghosteraser, not only would it be a poor showing to get bounced out by Monica in your redebut, but also the fact that Monica is injured wouldn’t really help Brooke’s cause.  You never though about Goddesses, its not an easy climb to deity-hood. XD

    Hey Prestwick, I think Brooke versus Bombshell Victoria Buckingham would be a great fight!  That’d be a fun feud to write for.  Dinosaurs make everything better.  I should see if I still have a fan sketch I did of Sun riding a raptor. XD

    Glad you like the new Brooke, MGC.  Good question about Brooke’s boobs;  Initially I thought I drew them too small and I got the Mrs. (bless her heart) to confer if they were in fact too big.  She ruled that they looked a little smaller and that they might in an outfit like that.  So, there you go. :D  As far as her wrestling attitude and any move set changes, etc., you’ll have to wait to see!  :P  The reason people are booing is because she’s insulting them and well, its Brooke.  Her attitude begs to be booed and even though she doesn’t have a mic, the people around her can hear her quite well. Brooke’s entrance music remain unchanged from ‘Toxic.’

    Hey RDF!  Let’s see….Yes…..Yes….I really  have no idea what you’re talking about. ;)  I’m thrilled that you liked the page so much to comment while you were busy!

    Hey Matt, welcome back buddy!  Brooke’s boobs aren’t bigger, she’s just showing more of them. XD  Glad to see you notice them though.   I don’t  know if we’ll see any of the moves you’re thinking of inside of the ring. Ha Ha!  But you never can tell. ;)  If you like Brooke, then you’ll love Friday’s update.

    Yep, ps2kid and like I posted before, I’ve been meaning to do this for a LONG time, since the Fatal Four Way match.  The panel with the booing is from the audience that is in her immediate vicinity, as opposed to the entire Angel Dome.  Plus, I wanted to get across her new attitude and that it be known to the crowd and the crowd’s reaction to it.  I suppose in hindsight, it wouldn’t of been so hard to give her a mic, though I know at the time I had a good reason for not using one.

    Funny you mention it, Coyote Lovely, that the makeover won’t fix her current problems as my buddy Lora said something similar (that Brooke will suck as a wrestler XD).  Glad you liked her costume, the thong showing just screams ‘Brooke,’ dontcha think?  :P

    XScarredHeart, I’m not familiar with that theme, but rest assured it isn’t.  Brooke will be keeping, “Toxic,” from Local H for the time being as her entrance music.

    You’re not the only one who was wrong Jamie, I was almost certain it was a complete new player. Question now is what’s Brooke’s next move, finish off what the Hells Bells started with Monica or drag her completely over to the Darkside?

    Yeah, she is still a crappy wrestler. But the getup is kinda cute! I’m left wondering if I can make that shirt for myself. :D And the Thong is TOTALLY Brooke.
    I wonder if she’ll force Michael to call her Aphrodite in the bedroom. Now *that* would be amusing.

    If you do end up with a Brooke vs Victoria feud, you may want to chuck in as many Brit and Aussie stereotypes as possible. Also, look up ‘the ashes’ (the competition which has defined anglo-australian mutual hate since 1898) for material ;)

    Yep, Coyote Lovely, the very same Lora!  I think she loves to boo, Brooke. XD  I’m very thrilled that you like Brooke’s outfit!  Seriously, there was a little inspiration from other sources, but the look was all me.  *oooh, my arm hurts from patting myself on the back.* XD  We’ll be seeing more of her and Michael in the bedroom so maybe we’ll see that happen! Ha ha!!

    Thanks for the info, Prestwick, I may just hit you up if I need some more info.  I’ll start with The Ashes though as well as some other research on the subject.

    No worries, GhostEraser, the thong wasn’t the main part of the outfit, but definitely an accent. :D  ’Pull here,’ might have some unintended consequences.
