There’s been some wondering going on with what Brooke’s been up to since she stormed out of the Rookie House. Seems like she’s been busy! Lots going on with this page, most importantly, it seems that Brooke won’t be spending all of her nights at the Rookie House, though she *is* required by her contract to be staying there. I think its fair to say that we’ll be seeing her at both places. And Brooke seems like she’ll have trouble keeping this a secret, make you wonder what Sabrina, Sun and Krystin might think.
Brooke was ready quick to change the subject of Michael’s fianceé to something that she seems very adept at. Of course, you have to wonder just how soundly MIchael’s judgement is. While Gabrielle has bigger concerns than co-workers being intimate together, this situation would certainly be pushing it.
In the meantime, it seems like Brooke and Michael are going to check out the rest of the penthouse, starting with the bedroom. XD
By the way, I’ll be going to the Metallica concert tonight! They may have put out some crappy albums lately, but they’re always awesome live. This will be my fourth time seeing them and they always put on a good show. What Metallica song would YOU use for your wrestling entrance music, OR which song would you pick for one of the Rival Angel girls?

Hooo booy. After we saw what happen with Sabrina & Sun, now it’s Brooke’s turn. And then Krystine ?
I actually prefer the ring competition to be continued. The TV tournament especially. I think the drama part is already too long enough.

Panel 1: what a nerve! Brooke.. Her penthouse? a Michael brought Brooke to his penthouse. then Brooke saying “it’s her penthouse.” what a nerve!

Panel 3: Brooke? doesn’t wear a brassiere? and about Michael’s finace’ Maddie.. will she be shown in one of the episode of Rival Angels? is she a wrestler?
Episode 128.. Commissioner Gabrielle said “Michael’s been know for his great ideas, which I’m sure his fiance’ appriciates. ” upon that, saying.. is Commissioner Gabrielle pointing out Maddie? could be Maddie is a Brooke fan?
Since we saw Michael’s penthouse. how about showing Chloe De Sade Penthouse in the future, hehe.. maybe compare which penthouse is great.. Chloe De Sade or Michael’s?
So in the next episode? are we gonna start the T.V. Tournament.. heheh..
I don’t mind.. Brooke and Michael kiss. maybe their love story okay.. Brooke is the parasite, while Michael is the host..

Honestly, I’m disappointed in Brooke.. really.. coz I thought she’s into wrestling, like dedicate her life in wrestling. like Chloe De Sade, Sun Wong, Jennifer Needles, Katherine SMith, Sabrina Mancini..in which they don’t need to blumpkin to get into spotslight.. Â
::Jaw drops:: Oh my god, I hope someone finds out and tells Michael’s fiance.
This is kinda fun for me. I like reading all the in between the fight times. I like the fights too – but I’m sort of a character driven person, so it’s cool for me to get an idea for what all the girls are about. I agree with ps2kid though – I want to know more about Krystin!
You know what would be really funny – if Brooke gives some god awful disease to Michael, and he has to break it to his fiance. Though it would be my hope that he doesn’t *give* it to his fiance.
Link.. Saturday Morning, Did Brooke walk out from the rookie house..so is that mean that Brooke contacted Michael? or Brooke stay in a motel or something? or Brooke just stay at the rookie house? then on Sunday, Brooke visited Michael.. in which this episode..
By the way, some situations aren’t reveil yet like.. who’s calling Krystin at episode 151? and then Monica and Sabrina situation. at episode 129, Brooke said “I will take care of Monica” whatever happen to that? heheh
I hear ya, ps2kid, the wrestling action is fun and the TV Tournament is barely started! Â Have no fear, this chapter will end with Brooke and Michael and Chapter 9 is all about the TV tournament. Â It was important to get the characters some time here because once we start the TV Tournament, its going to be hard (not impossible) to focus on anything but that. Â So, it should be worth the wait!
Wow. Michael’s awesome. I mean it. And smart, too. I mean, why else would an up-and-coming wrestlin’ chick want to get it on with while even though he’s engaged? I wish he was handling my finances.
I like the backstory. How else can you get to know the characters? If it was all just fights, I’m pretty sure you’d get bored.
MGC, remember, just because it happened 12 pages ago, it may have only been 4 or 5 hours in RA time. Maybe it was just a call to change Krystin’s long distance provider.
I’m really hyped about the TV tournament, you’re doing a great job albone! I like the fact you also flesh out your characters a bit before and inbetween the matches, really gives it a realistic atmosphere. Hope this comic continues, it’s one of the best

I think the penthouse is used by Rival Angels to entertain advertisers and other sponsors, kinda like hospitality suites at industrial suppy conventions.
Note the clock in panel one: it is five o’clock… AM or PM ? It’s hard to tell. I’d guess PM, making it about the same time/ maybe a little later than Sun and Sabrina left the park in our last ep.
What does Michael hope to gain from all this? Of course, there is nothing new about young men driven to do  incredibly dumb things on impulse. He’s potentially headed to a tragedy of mythic proportions…
Panel two… Brooke really has it in for her roomates. Of course she’s going to spill! “Na Nannee na na! I’ve got a hot boytoy and a cool penthouse and YOU DONT!!!!”
Panel three B: I’m surprised Brooke didn’t use a choke hold on Michael to reinforce her point… she may lose a lot in the ring but I suspect she could put the hurt on her boytoy.Â
All in all a respectable episode, well drawn with good composition. Brooke and Michael are both in character: the sultry Bad Girl and the hapless fellow that does what the dominant women in his life tell him to. I have just got to wonder what Maddie is like…
Think about it, this episode is as much about the people who aren’t there… clearly a pivotal event in the series with consequences to come. For some reason I get this image of Brooke putting all her weight into yanking on a rope connected to a reeeeeealy big bell…Â
Alan, hope you have fun at the concert! I grew up in the 70’s;Â I’m more of a Led Zeppelin/ Queen/ REO Speedwagon/ Eagles fan. I don’t know enough about Metallica to pick a song from their collection.
For entrance music choices, I suppose Sarah Valentine could use Joan Jett’s “Cherry Bomb”… or maybe “Bad Reputation” would be safer. I’m sure Queen’s “We Will Rock You” is waaay overdone…
Just a quick note…Metallica was awesome! They played some good new songs and they played a lot of great old songs like Seek and Destroy and Ride The Lightning. The Sword opened for them and they were very good. Machinehead also opened for them, but they were kind of blaugh.
Jamie! I think really, it was just good timing on Michael’s part, that and he’s the Assistant to the Commissioner. He’s one part smooth, one part devoted and one part power, and while Brooke has shown to the contrary, she’s not completely dumb. She knows that this thing of theirs has a shelf life on it so she’s making the best of it. I’m really happy that you’re enjoying the backstory and that its doing what its intended, making the wrestlers that much more interesting.

You are right on the money with your thoughts on what the penthouse is used for and the time of day. Michael’s just going to ‘block off’ indefinitely, this company penthouse. You sit back and you have to think, ‘Just what IS Michael thinking,’ and off the top of my head, I’d say he isn’t thinking and just riding the thought that he can have it all including his subservance to his goDDess. Or something. XD I love your thoughts on panel two and three, definitely some beats that I wanted to hit.Â
 Bad Reputation is pretty good…I actually think Cherry Bomb is too cool for Sarah, in the sense that she wouldn’t like it because the song would take away from the fans checking her out, if that makes sense. She’s got a little ‘Brooke’ in her, if you know what I’m saying. LOL
Hey yo! It’s getting interesting in the lives of the rookies isn’t it? Â Well, I for one can’t wait till we see more of the “Definition of Technician” Krystin Moline. Yeah! Â Â Anywho, great job as usual my friend.
Oh and I’d pick: Disposable Heroes for my entrance music.Â
“Break some furniture?”  Those words aren’t very comforting when they come from a horny wrestler.  Unless you’re into getting your ass kicked during sex, in which case it’s probably the best thing to hear. XD
