Rival Angels Page 159-Loss
Man, talk about going from bad to worse. Sabrina lost her focus and then the match. Having Misty lord it over you is no fun either, but the real pain is from Danielle who’s still sore about losing earlier to Sabrina. There’s still time for Sabrina to turn this around though. Er, right? Or is the beatdown going to continue?
And just a quick reminder, the blue border boxes are Sabrina, Sun’s are green and the fans’ are in black.
Everyone have a great New Year’s Day? LOTR was grand, but its back to the grindstone. XD

I say “BEAT DOWN CONTINUE!!” ahahahahhahaah.. I really like this page.. “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini lost.. there is a BUT to it… how come we show “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini lost in her past, in her development territory.. how about showing her lost in the “Rival Angels”? maybe a loss to Jennifer Needles, that would be a great, and improve “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini’s skill in the future if she face Jennifer Needles again..

Question about the Voting Incentives..
Sabrina, Sun, Brooke and Krystin.. in celebrating the happy birthday to Rival Angels.. why only the upstart girls..could it be better celebrating, like Happy Birthday Rival Angels.. with all the “Rival Angels” roster.. I mean like the Hell’s Belle are there, Catgirls, Monica Rumble, Loretta Diaz. like a complete cast? that would be nice..
another thing, why Brooke is there? I kinda thought Brooke left? like a quit?

So from the match.. She-ra loss to He-man.
Sabrina cosplayed as “She-ra” in the Halloween Special.. while in the development territory, Sabrina called Danielle “He-Man”
Thinking about it.. if there’s possible that Danielle Perfection got drafted to “Rival Angels” hmmm… can I say, Sabrina cosplayed as “She-ra” again, then Danielle Perfection being He-man.. ah? heheh..

Okay… cool story arc. Nice setup. Somehow I’m not feeling British Bulldog though. Look at that face. Look at the pose. I’m thinking Ron Simmons. I believe he called it a Dominator.

I’m certain the beating will continue, but my guess is that Monica will show up and bail her out. This would explain Sabrina’s desire to save her from the metal chair sandwich on Page 124…

There’s something to be said for the fact that even though our girl Ultragirl is losing, the crowd is still on her side! I’m still rooting for her.

I vote Dominator, too. I seriously doubt Monica Rumble will be anywhere near this place. I don’t think they were developmental together, were they? I believe Monica’s been in RA for quite awhile since Sabrina is the big new face/rookie and being int he tv tourney is such a push… they wouldn’t put another rookie in the tourney. The fact is, we know very little of Sabrina pre-RA and anyone else that was in development with her. Which means a) Ultragirl is going to be pounded or b) a new face will come to her rescue and be the driving force in helping her gain focus on her wrasslin.

MGC, Sabrina lost in developmental, she certainly could lose to Jennifer Needles in the TV Tournament. Every wrestler in the tournament is deserving so anyone could beat anyone. Danielle IS a big girl, just like Brooke. I seriously doubt that any woman would want to be compared to He-Man. That’s just weird. I’m glad you liked the Voting Incentive, it had the Upstart Girls because they are the stars of the webcomic.

Excuse me for asking, but with a ref in the ring, what’s the idea of a beatdown? Seems to me he could manage to stanch that problem, if he’s even trying to do his job.

darkmark: remember, he’s a ref and not a cop. I’m not even sure a tazer would stop the He-Girl! Typically the ref’s try to stay in one piece while making sure the rules are followed during the match. Once the match is over, there is no incentive for the wrestlers to follow the rules, so either the wrestler has class and there’s no beatdown, or the steroids* take over and all hell breaks loose. *note: the steroids reference is a poke at He-Girl and not a reference to any other wrestler regardless of size, shape, or muscle development.

Just to make a small correction, Ron Simmons’ version had them facing the ceiling. Lashley’s Dominator was the powerslam version. Personally, I’m thinking Tombstone Piledriver or running her facefirst into the pole again. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Darkmark, its a valid point but more often than not, the referee’s don’t get involved after a match other than to implore the attacking wrestler to stop. GhostEraser summed it up nicely though. I might have to remember that part about not being a cop!
