Thanks A Mouse, I have a good support system which helps in getting three pages a week. :) And thanks for weighing in on the match page length. I think you've given me a couple of good ideas here on the subject. ;)

First, albone, I'm amazed that you can do 3 updates a week; I don't know how you do it.

Second, balancing pages so that they're not too long or too short is important. Even i was getting tired of the Sabrina match by the end, but it was an important match so I can't see it being much shorter than it was. Only 1 page per match is too short unless the match is almost over before it starts; but, one way to get through all the matches faster would be to have someone summarize them, or show a 'highlight reel', or something else that has some of the matches happen 'off screen'. Some of that could happen when the girls go to the bar, and someone there could tell them what they missed. Of course, this assumes that some of the matches could be skipped without it effecting the story. If they are important to the story they should be shown, and they should take as long as they need to take to tell what happened in them; both with the number of pages needed, and the number of panels per page needed. If the story became too formulaic it would be boring, but having a basic idea how long the matches should take is good for general pacing.

Sure, there needs to be some degree of variation.

Pacing is one of the great arts in storytelling, and can never be completely reduced to fixed formulas.

Thanks for the suggestions and ideas on the pages and match length.Â

ps2kid, It's sort of where I've been steering things. Â Clearly, I've learned alot since the Rookie Fatal Fourway. I definitely appreciate the feedback and suggestions.

JackAce, yeah, she is the main character. :P You summed that up great with the difference between reading it as it updates and the archives which is why I'm glad to be able to update three times a week. Â And I like the 'formula' so to speak that you came up with. Â Actually I really like it, but don't hold me to it if I deviate from it a little, if nothing else because page panels can play a role in that, and it'd help to deviate to keep some surprise alive. Â Very cool though.

MGC, I love the enthusiasm for the wrestling action and I appreciate the feedback and suggestions.  Really, balance is the key in everything as far as wrestling, drama, story and pacing goes. Your dislike for Sabrina is documented, and we've already discussed that in earlier posts, but I'm happy that you still read and comment on Rival Angels.
