RDF, the other posters comments and feedback add to the overall fun and appeal of Rival Angels, not to mention helpful in things that might have been missed. You yourself are very good at spotting little details. How indeed, will Sabrina get out of this? Will she? One thing I can say for Sabrina is that she's got a lot of determination so she won't be giving up. I'm thrilled that I hit it home with the last panel. I purposefully didn't have Sabrina make any audible discomfort, all visual. And hair helps sell the action! I know Sabrina wants to take the advice of hit hard and fast to get out of that hold, we'll see in the next update if she can. ;)

Ha Salazen! The Minnesota Wrecking Crew were awesome, Ole and Arn seemed like such bad asses when I was a kid. Hammerlock bodyslam... brilliant. You got Sabrina's aerial prowess pegged correctly, its just a question of whether she'll get another chance to demonstrate it. Good point though, quoting page 1 and the determination of Sabrina to bring her through this, as well as the fans spurring her on. A fight to the finish is what we're going to get here. Some great ideas for counters too and we'll see if Sabrina can get any of them in.

A Mouse, this is a fun little group, eh? I'm thrilled that you enjoy yourself here and a part of the group yourself.

I agree with Roller Derby Fan; I don't know much about wrestling, so others comments help me know what's going on. I look forward to reading M.G.C.'s 'annotated edition' (as RDF puts it), because it invariably shows me something I missed. I can't think of anybody here who's comments aren't interesting; it's a good crowd.

I'm not surprised at the arm attack. Loretta seems to be more of a power type than a speed sort so finding an injury and working it over with basic moves is not a surprise at all. To show my age, it's a tradition the Minnesota Wrecking Crew made famous. Especially when it's the left arm. It's got nothing to do with Sabrina's finisher, it's pure damage to get an advantage. I can see some hammerlock bodyslams and driving her arm and shoulder first into the turnbuckles to go with the arm bar and such. Time for Sabrina to show the determination of the very first strip once again.

To quote: She's been stomping my face in most of this match...
...until now.

Sabrina, like most aerial wrestlers, has amazing reserves of energy and can recover in a heartbeat. It's going to be painful until she does, but it should be properly flashy when she manages to escape. Something like getting whipped into the corner and turning it into a Whisper in the Wind, or maybe rolling through a backdrop and then hitting a Pele al la AJ Styles. She's probably going to have to win this with kicks, but I think she can do that if she gets a breather.

Reading the other comments illustrates the events in a complementary fashion. MGC is putting much thought into his interpretation of goings on. It's almost like reading an annontated edition; the other poster's knowledge of wrestling is helping me understand the implications in each episode.

Sabrina's turn at overconfidence and showing off is biting her in the left elbow... she's back to "Act, don't think" time.

The right thing for Sabrina to do was to climb back in the ring herself and wait for Loretta, Miz Diaz would have been vulnerable then. A missed opportunity that seemed unneccesary just a moment ago.

Sabrina's one chance is to break that hold and hit back. Fast.

Panel seven: the rays emanating from Sabrina's elbow focuses her pain's intensity... you get a sense of desperation. You know that elbow hurts *Bad*. It's as if Sabrina's world has shrunk, there is no ring, no referee, no stadium, no outside world, just the overwhelming totality of her elbow.

This is another episode with little jumps in time, here we see what Loretta is doing to Sabrina and not using up panel space with the in- betweens. I think this ep illustrates the match the way a spectator would recall it, people tend to remember action and not the setup to it.

Remember Action Hair? Its baaaaack.......
Panel two: Loretta has Dynamic Purpose hair while Sabrina has Flailing Unbalanced hair, which adds to her look of surprise. This panel once again demonstrates Alan's skill with economy of drawing; there is a lot being conveyed in a simple image.

How is Sabrina going to get out of this? I'm tuning in to future eps to find out!

A. Mouse, Sabrina has been a bit of a gambler with those high risk moves and hopefully some of the training that Marina provided will help her recover. Loretta seems bound and determined to work that arm over to a point that leaves Sabrina defenseless and open for a coup de grace. I'm glad you're enjoying the match and hopefully Sabrina can make you proud.

Glad you enjoyed the page MGC. If Loretta has her way, she's going to do some real damage to that arm of Sabrina's, but the question is, will Sabrina be able to fight back? Loretta is working on the arm because its already injured. That's not to say that she won't pick on another body part, but she's taking the opportunity of Sabrina's injury. I would say you can't really compare Sun and Sabrina's matches because Loretta is a better wrestler than Sara Valentine so the comparison isn't really level. Glad you liked the last panel too, I think it conveyed more with the effects than Sabrina crying out in pain. No dislocations yet.

JackAce, Loretta could've strung it out a little bit but she's upset that she was being dominated by Sabrina and took the open shot of Sabrina entering the ring. It was as much desperation as anything. I like your thinking for a Sabrina-counterattack, or rather, Sabrina does. Sabrina would love to win this match and put the ghost of her past losses to Loretta behind her.
