I think I'd have to see the before and after of the shower side by side to really see the difference, but Brooke does look like she's further in the corner, so ... yeah, it still looks small, but it looks like she could fit in it. I don't think you can make it much bigger without destroying the delicate balance for space in the bathroom. The invisible walls/floor were a good way to deal with such a cramped space.

There have been comparisons between them and the Hell's Belles. The Hell's Belles have had time to work through this kind of thing, whereas the Upstarts haven't. I doubt they were as cohesive when they first started out. This bodes well for the Upstarts; if they can get past there initial personality clashes, they should be able to work well together.

Wow, just wow. I'm not sure how I figured out Brooke's family life. I don't have any strong readings on the rest of the characters, yet. It may take some time to get to all their backgrounds; there's only so much you can fit in one page. It'll be nice when it comes, but don't rush it.

So, Brooke is about to be ninja'd? ;) Yeah, I know, you can't say.

Roller Derby Fan, I would say its definitely more of the former than the latter, but it wouldn't be above Brooke to sneak attack Sabrina. Good eye for detail with picking up Brooke's frustration at losing to Sabrina. Rival Angels is a top 5 cable show, that normally broadcasts weekly out of Chicago, but they do travel around for their Pay Per Views.
The old school roller derby was the bomb and though the attempted revitilization (Roller Jam?) I don't think it quite captured the appeal of the older days. Rival Angels does have a better timeslot than either. :D Thanks for the compliment on the art, I'm glad you liked the hanging towel rack in panel 3! And I completely agree with how nice the reader community is here. Always some good points and observations, as well as helpful suggestions.

A Mouse, speaking of helpful suggestions, I took you and bd's note about the shower and made it a bit bigger. Its a bit more believable now I think. Also good catch with what was wonky with the website before. Basically, I couldn't access my site to load the new page, but I could still post. The image page ended up having to be hosted somewhere else temporarily and that's why there was a tad difference in how it looked.
Sabrina and Brooke are showing their inexperience and a little bit of their age too. They're going to be roommates for quite a while so they're just going to have to learn to get along. Right on with Brooke having step-siblings and younger to boot. I hope to address that in a future chapter, some background on Brooke and all of the main characters of Rival Angels. Maybe see why Brooke is used to being the center of attention and why she demands it.
I'm glad you liked the invisible walls and floors, again I didn't know how well they'd work but I think I may try them again. It was challenging to portray some space in tight quarters like a bathroom so I had a bit of fun with it.
And Sun... she IS a ninja!! ;)

It's good to hear the site's back to normal. I noticed some slight differences, but nothing that was distracting. The only thing I can think of right now is that I think the PREV and NEXT buttons were in a different position.

Even though I don't like what Sabrina did I still really hope Brooke doesn't succeed in getting her kicked out. I'm thinking something came up in Brooke's conversation with Vincent that she thinks she can use to her advantage. Hopefully, Sabrina will learn something from this when it all comes to a head. She needs to not let her anger get the better of her. It might be good if Brooke's plan partially works, so she can get it out of her system, and so Sabrina can learn something too. The whole thing could be scandalous.

Sneaking around someone's house in the middle of the night just seems creepy to me; it may turn out to be harmless, but it seems suspicious to me. Vincent moral character? You mean he has moral character? ;) He could just be a little overzealous, but I wouldn't want to take that chance. I've got warning bells going off in my head about him. I'd rather listen to them and be safe, then not listen to them and be in trouble. Sabrina could be in danger; she doesn't actually know where Vincent is taking her, and this could be a problem later.

So, Brooke IS an only child, that really fits. You used the phrase "for a long time", which makes me wonder if she has step-siblings, or if there is another sibling who is either much older or much younger then her, or something. I remember, from one of my psych classes, that those kinds of situations are effectively only children. But, regardless of the reason(s) she is the way she is, Brooke still needs to learn that she doesn't need to be the center of attention all the time. I might like her better if she did. A lot of the mean things she does seem motivated by needing to be the center of attention; if that changed I think she'd be a better person.

And, you're right, where is Sun in all this? She could be overhearing all this stuff. That could sure put a wrench in Brooke's plan. It seems to me that she'd pick Sabrina over Brooke, so if she can do anything to help Sabrina, I think she'd do it.

I liked the invisible walls and floors; it just took me a bit to figure out panel 5. I wanted to make sure I was interpreting it right, and figured it might be helpful to others as well. I did notice the towel rank in panel 3, but thought that was pretty self-explanatory (it reminded me of things hanging on invisible walls in the Sims). I agree with Roller Derby Fan about the lack of horizontal lines being a good thing in this episode; it really fits with what is happening.

I second what bd said; I thought the shower was small too. I chalked it up to being a cramped space, but I think there might be room for it to be a little bigger. I'm not sure how close it is to the sink in the other corner. If it's a tight fit, maybe it could be a square with the corner cut out for the door.
