It’s been a while since the ‘klang‘ of the steel chair has been heard last. It’s all coming together for Damage Inc and looking REALLY bad for Xtina.

I know people are going to look for me to try and rationalize Sun’s using a chair, but I’m not. I don’t like that she’s getting the help from Damage Inc, but I’m not going to cheer for Xtina just because “She’s the face”. When we all know she’s a grade-A bitch backstage. I’m actually happy that Sun waffled her with the chairshot after Xtina barged into Sabrina’s locker room to rub her title shot in her face, then proceed to whup Brooke’s ass when the Aussie was only trying to break up the fight. Break her F***ing nose, Sun.
On a more Technical note, A brilliant counter for the Sharpshooter by Sun, grabbing on to the ankle so that Xtina couldn’t sit down on it, or even turn her over properly. Those extra added Sleeve things that Xtina wears for some odd reason were a real help to her opponent here, giving her more grip to keep the hold blocked.
The reason Sun used the chair is because her blows were not taking her opponent down so she wanted a bit more power.
I love the look on Sun’s face as she smashes the hell out of her. Devious!
While it is a good move Sun it is still a wicked moved. For some reason it seems Sun wants to do real long term damage to her opponent and that I cannot support.
I love Sun as a person, but as a wrestler, meh. I like personal ability, and don’t care much for the underhanded stuff. Always makes it look like the other person was the better fighter, regardless of whether or not that’s true.
Still looking for a Sun win here, because clean win or no, Xtina needs her face beat in.
I love the fast over the top moves Sun makes but the dirty stuff drops my opinion of her a lot.
Yep. Nice block by Sun. But she doesn’t have the core to flip Xtina forward or pull herself out. So I’m guessing Xtina gave it up. Probably smart too since she didn’t get a quick submission. Riding it out would tie her up and leave her vulnerable to the Dincs. She went and got all dumb after that.

I agree she wasn’t getting the results she need so she needed to regroup and do something else but looking away was not the something else she should have done.

Xtina will still win. I like Sun and all still….but she is making herself just look pathetically weak now. She literally looks like she does not belong in the ring with Xtina. And that saddens me.

Donny, I really don’t lean to the ‘grey’ areas of storytelling, but you hit on the nose. Xtina showed her bitchiness when she was rubbing her Title shot in Sabrina’s face and then decided to physically bully her and Brooke (who already had matches). Sun is giving Xtina her comeuppance. In instances like this, the word ‘fair’ needs to be redefined.

DragonMan, I think we know that Sun has the ability, but she’s more willing to take the shortcut. Or to put it in Jessie Ventura terms, it takes a lot of skill to cheat like that and get away with it.

Golden Girl, it is Sun’s loss. Maybe she’ll get it back? One thing about Sun is that she doesn’t pander or apologize for who she is.

Sabrina brought much of that bitchiness upon herself for her childish actions in the ring against Xtina and then her childish reaction out of the ring of “people can’t hate me”. Sun only knows part of the story but Xtina really doesn’t care what people think of her. It may come off as bitchy but Xtina is true to herself, unlike two faced Brooke.
What Sun is doing isn’t just retribution, it’s also for personal gain. But this match actually does a world of good for Sun as a character – it shows she isn’t as good as she believes she is and is willing to take those short cuts heels need to take.
Of course I did laugh at Xtina the bully. She’s not a nice gal but she’s one of those faces that love an audience more than being a goody-goody; she’s an attitude era face.
well Sun’s finally taken the step into full blown heeldom now after tweener teasing us for so long. You’d think given all the trash talk Xtina does that she wouldn;t fall for Kyra’s obvious tactics in getting her to release the sharpshooter attempt and set up the interference on the other side.
as a side note this also points out the reason why any stable worth being a stable must have at least three people in it- one to fight,. one to distract and one to provide “international” objects. To my lack of surprise Kyra is the distracting one of course. fortunately wrestling refs are required to be deaf as well as blind otherwise they might note that after the rather large KLANG that suddenly Sun is about to cover a miraculously unconscious Xtina.
of course by taking away Xtina’s jaw like that she won;t be able to continue her trashtalking for whatever’s left of the match to try and mess with Sun’s head the rest of the way. Paris has good jaw re-attachment surgeons right?
Acting as a heel (including cheating) when in a match against a face is part of the definition of a tweener.
Yeah, I don’t respect the chair shot. What would have been funnier is if Sun had used the chair as a chair, stepped up onto it, and gone Dragonrana on Stickstina. Any rules about using foreign objects as tools rather than weapons? Dirty shot or not, I have to say that Xtina FALLING for that tactic speaks very poorly of her intelligence. But then we knew she wasn’t the brightest candle on the cake.
Hokay, when the chair first went in… I would have loved to see the classic ‘toss up the chair then nail them with the high kick – ala Rob Van Dam’. I hate cheaters but I LOVE that move.

Xtina is pretty cheap herself. In wrestling, it’s only cheating if the referee sees it. And referees seem really easy to distract.
Ouch. I don’t want to take a chair to the – well, to the ANYTHING!
It’s only cheating if you get caught, and if Sun’s smart, she’ll make sure that chair is out of the ring before the ref turns ’round again. Though, if Kyra does her job well enough, Sun might just be able to take that chair to Xtina’s leg. Nothing says, “Try the Sharpshooter now, bitch!” quite like folding their ankle between the seat and back, then stomping on it. Can’t fight back if they can’t stand. But what matters is that, like Jeff said and I’m still in something resembling shock that I’m agreeing with him at all, much less this long, is that VETERAN Xtina made a ROOKIE mistake and took her eyes off her opponent when a distraction was run. And now, she’s paying for it.
Hell, if the fans in the comic knew how she really was, they’d say the same thing: This is the least she deserves. I mean, for one thing, she was beat fair and square by Sabrina, and technically Angel Soprano, for the #1 Contendership to the Television Championship. She does NOT deserve a shot now if she can’t even win a Triple Threat match to get it in the first place. That said, she’s damn lucky to be given that shot when Sabrina deserves to be the first true #! Contender for it, so if she was anything resembling gracious and humble, and we all know she’s not, Xtina would have kept her big mouth shut and maybe, just MAYBE Sun would have simply bent the rules, not outright broke them. One thing is for certain, heel or not, Damage Inc. or not, you do NOT, under any circumstances mess with people Sun likes. Unfortunately, I’m willing to bet that’s a lesson no amount of chair shots will get it through Canadion Idiot’s skull.
And boom goes the dynamite. I like Sun as a person outside of the ring, but she is not living up to her former champ status with her ring skills right now. Xtina is no angel, Sabrina did try to make amends at the club and has responsed pretty petty and vindictive since then. This grudge is far from over between these two.
The only person who deserves a chair to the face more is Chloe Desade. And she deserves a flame thrower to the face… Underhanded tactics against a back stabbing biatch like Xitna are fully acceptable

lol M.G.C. you are so pro hell’s belles when they do crap 10x more dirty then sun did right now but sun does it and she the dirty one? people sun always been the type to bend the rules and said as much. if you are surprized or disapointed she doing it now maybe you been watching the wronf sun then i have. she taking advange and doing a good job and unlike chole she seems to have the skill along with the dirty tricks

Great character development here, Albone! Sun is definitely taking some shortcuts, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost any of her ability. She can work with the best of them, but this makes perfect sense. Xtina will definitely get a major face response from Damage Inc.’s antics. Keep up the great work!
