And so possibly the birth of a new finishing move for Brooke. If she were to continue using it, consider the name of it from Brooke to be, ‘The Break Up.’ XD
We’ve seen Sabrina use the ‘foot stomp’ thing before. So, does that make her not such a good girl?
The bigger issue is Brooke and Sabrina….gasp….getting along! It wasn’t long ago that Brooke was conspiring to get Sabrina fired from Rival Angels and now she’s covering for her? Their new found friendship can’t last forever, can it? And what will Sun have to say about it?!

Woot my random guessing was right for once lol ^.^ I believe Brooke and Sabrina working together is one of signs of end times *looks for horseman or angry dragon*. Can’t wait for Friday and the awards, I am guessing this event is going to wilder than those borring ceremonies like the Oscars or Emmy’s. Of course seeing Michael Moore getting slam through a table will make me watch the Oscar’s =P
Very nice Widow’s Peak and I know I’ve said this before but I love seeing Sabrina and Brooke getting along. i think its a great as its something that hasn’t really been explored yet and to see it happen now is great. I think they would be a pretty bad ass tag team. 🙂

Is Brooke really covering for Sabrina or will she say this fight was all her idea? Nice landing on, is that a modified ‘Razor’s Edge’? But, the way the masses scattered it was like someone yelled “Cat!” in a room full of Mice heh… or Shark in a small lake… whatever Predator / Food analogy you may have.

Panel 3: just a question on the coloring albone.. Suzy’s color is pale to grey.. is like her soul is taken by Shang Tsung.. or color of Zombie Luna..
Panel 6: is funny.. look at Veronica Silvers, Loretta Diaz, Blackwidow and Shannon McCourt.. they saw Michael, and it’s like the parties over.. or maybe they don’t like to be witness of what’s going on, if Michael interrogate Sabrina..
Last Panel: Brooke? ahhh!! not pretty anymore, ahhh!! what happen?

I must say albone.. the level of your art has really picked up over the past week or so. I am not saying it was ever bad or anything but its been “wow” for the last couple comics :).
i see Brooke goes to the Maryse school of covering in panel 2. Black Widow seems less “gotta leave before someone sees me” than the other three. of course she’s the #1 contender so probably has a bit more leeway when it comes to workout shennagans.

Thanks RAWF! You’re in good company liking to see Brooke and Sabrina get along. It just doesn’t happen enough. Once again, they’re on the same page but how long can it last? They would make a pretty good team I think, with power and speed and they did win that one time against the Towers of Terror. 😉

DynaMo, she did have Susy a little high up but I admit to stretching the suspense a bit as to what move Brooke would use and whether or not she’d even hit it. Will Monica be the next one to feel it at the PPV?
Hey Chris! The Kudo Driver is the bomb, but Brooke likes this because she feels it shows off her wares a bit more, so to speak. You know Brooke. XD
Kurt, that is an excellent question about what Brooke’s actually going to say, but from the last panel, we can kind of assume that her happiness will carry over a bit. At least until Sabrina and Brooke find a reason to start fighting again. I believe the move is a Gory Neckbreaker though Victoria uses it as the Widow’s Peek. And now it’s got another name, The Break Up. 😉

Thanks MGC! I like to think I’m slowly improving my art. With Brooke, I’m trying to convey that she’s a buff, strong girl. She’s easily the strongest of the Upstart girls. Maybe as strong as Kat? As for the coloring with Susy, I was trying something different, giving her a cooler color so our focus would go to Brooke and Sabrina. You’ll find out Black and Blue’s name on Friday. 😉

jpiv, I definitely think that Brooke is channeling a little bit of Maryse. Good call with Black Widow. Being #1 contender and her natural attitude makes it so that she’s not in TOO much of a hurry. Sadly, we wont’ see what Brooke and Michael’s conversation is like but that’s a good read. Another good read is the signs of Brooke getting along with Sun and Sabrina. LOL
MGC, Brooke was doing the counting – so I dont think speed matters.
For the last few pages, the RSS feed hasn’t had the comic pages in it. Is everything okay?

The last time an image on the RSS feed worked for me was #407. hope that helps
Thanks Brian. I let Frumph, a developer for the theme I’m using, know about it and he told me he’s working on a fix. In the meantime, I’m going to try and find a temporary fix to get it working again.

To 5 thingsings I would love to see happen in rival Angel that probably never will:
5. Sun, feeling Vindictive, tries to convince Yvonne that Damage Inc needs to ambush Brooke and Monica and clean house of both wrestlers.
4. The Black Widow wreaking havoc at the awards banquet and being awesome, because there has never been an uncool Black Widow character.
3.An Extreme Rules Cage Match!(those matches are always capitalized and end with an exclamation mark,it’s part of the rules.) between Brenda Rua and Jennifer Needles. Winner wears chainmail loser wears a mustache! (unless she all ready has one) Also,If Jennifer Needles wins, She gets reinstated!
2. Dannielle Perfection gets promoted and tag teams with Susy against Sabrina and Brooke.

Love the interaction here =D I am sure this friendliness won’t last, but I do like the steps Sabrina is taking towards embracing her inner badass. She’s probably starting to realize that playing nice gets you nowhere.

I have to say the Jen vs Brenda match is growing on me more and more (like a mustache) and those are pretty good stipulations. Oy, Hogan in a tutu. Also, excellent continuation of how Brooke would’ve counted. XD
