Twenty seconds for Kat to get involved in this match is twenty seconds Sabrina might have realized that she’s bitten off more than she can chew. Sabrina underestimated the level of interference that the Belle’s would resort to, especially this early in the match. This thing might be over before its had a chance to start!
From the onset, the fans are squarely behind Sabrina, but she’s going to need a bit more to counter her opponent, Jen Needles and her stable-mate, Katherine Smith. Right now, its basically two-on-one and with Sabrina swearing off any help from the back, Sabrina’s dreams of continuing on in the tournament might be over.

Man, Sabrina is playing it up. I’d like to see her win then see her beat the living tar out of Brooke. Boo Brooke. Replace crappy Brooke with more Sara Valentine!

Jennifer Needles got more disadvantage on height and weight and even it’s finisher.. “Ultrasplash” is more devastating than “nose job”.. but at 128lbs, who can blame her, possible finisher on that weight are: R.K.O[R.J.N.] (Red Jen Needles) , stunner, backstabber, facebuster ddt, maybe boston crab (Walls of Jennifer) but there’s a huge advanatage in which I PERSONALLY GIVE TO JENNIFER NEEDLES.. 1. she’s is a Hell’s Belles member, eventhough rumors or fact, Jennifer Needles is in the group coz of Katherine Smith.. but she is still part of, as Chloe De Sade said in episode 32 “No failures allowed, I’m afraid” there must be a proving grounds in which Jennifer Needles passed. why advanatge being in the Hell’s Belles? not only the means of backing up, and backstage power, and being ‘White Queen’ Chloe De Sade blessings.. it’s hard to prove that, a worthy angel being in.. as ‘White Queen’ Chloe De Sade said in episode 165 “We don’t offer anyone membership into the greatest stable in history in Rival Angels. ”
so every hits is a heavy damage here, let’s say Jennifer Needles executed 10 conscecutive slams and summission manuver. 1. implant DDT, 2. vertical suplex,3. superplex from the top rope, 4. Boston crab,5. neckbreaker,6.spinning neckbreaker,7. reverse ddt, 8. fameasser, 9.bulldog, 10. backstabber, then finally the “nose job” surely “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini will lose..  Â

I knew the match would start off fast. First lesson for Sabrina – NEVER turn your back on your opponent. Lesson two? Make sure your pant legs are straight before the match begins… I’m thinking Sun the Magic Ninja is going to appear and show Kat her new shoes – up close and personal [boot to the head…].

Ha Ha, Picky, my buddy Keith just told me the other day that I should replace Brooke with Sara. XD I don’t know how well Sara would like that though, being saddled with a bunch of ‘rookies,’ especially two of them that beat her down.
Nice set up, MGC. Both gals are from the southern developmental territory in Biloxi. I’m glad you liked panel 1, it seems to be a popular image. 😀 I think you and Jeff will continue to be disappointed in not seeing Sabrina forfeit her match.

Ha GhostEraser! ‘Showing her new shoes,’ man that’s awesome. Sun is the likely candidate to break her ‘promise’ to Sabrina and Ninja Hell’s Belles. Of course though, there’s De Sade waiting in the wings….
GO ULTRAGIRL!
Well, that didn’t take long. But since the referee isn’t distracted or anything, perhaps the ref could send Kat to the back. Thus making the match fair for both side. At least for a while.
Well, interference too early on is usually a way to get sent to the back. Although grabbing a leg isn’t too noticeable, so we’ll see.
BTW, your art has gotten a lot better as the comic has gone on. You have a very clean style with good dynamic action going on here.
This is a hard episode to comment on, other than it is of the usual high quality; everything is straightforward and easy to follow. Of special note is how the art has improved in depicting punching and striking, the perspective on wrestlers’ forearms and hands is spot on.
The special effects are color coded: yellow-orange for Jennifer, red for Kat, and I would assume blue for Sabrina once she gets in the match rather than reacting. The fans are reacting as well after an inital surprise and are on Sabrina’s side, no change there. Oh, and, duh, Jeff is….. Jeff, a consistent Belles supporter.
Sabrina is just plain overconfident. Part of the situation is Sabrina is still new to the major league; it is apparent that part of the Mancini Project was to get her into the TV Tournament. Now, longtime viewers of the real Rival Angels would know more of the background than we do, such as if the TV tourney is a new one time event or an annual event, I would think is it one of many titles the Angels have ( the World Champ isn’t defending her title here, for instance ).
This ep is offbeat in having lots of horizontal lines, Jen is pushing or getting pushed sideways as opposed to throwing / being thrown, as was a big part of the Sabrina / Loretta match. No doubt the nature if not the tempo of the action will change in upcoming episodes.
I wonder how Sun would have handled this… she would not have been taken by surprise and would in fact have surprised Jennifer Needles, it’s a ninja thing. I admit Sun is my fave wrestler!
Aphrodite… with her the  match would have gone like this: Ding Ding! OOOOFF!!! One.. Two… Three… the winnah, Jennifer Needles of the Hell’s Belles, advances to the next round!

Here’s one situation ince “ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini ask her roommate not to be in her corner.. he’s one situation will, come.. Like Brooke comes in, not to help Sabrina, instead helping the Hell’s Belles.. now let’s say Jennifer Needles won, coz with the help of Brooke.. surely Brooke will ask Chloe that she’ll be a member.. but, con-chair-to to Brooke.. hahahahha…

Jeff kind of reminds me of Bobby Heenan in his announcing days in the WWF… the whole ‘fountain of misinformation’ monicker really fits him. There are a couple of consistencies about him — he will ALWAYS make excuses for the heels, to the point of absurdity — he is very much in favor of the T&A factor — and he tends to be pretty consistently wrong in his analysis of, well, anything. XD Which is fine, as the way Heenan and Monsoon played off of each other was hilarious.

ps2kid, if the Ref sees it, he’ll call it and has the option of warning her or sending her to the back, to disqualification. With the stakes this high, probably not a DQ, but maybe sending Jen’s gf to the back. Of course, the Belles excel at cheating so catching it is going to be tough.

Hey RDF! Thanks and I’m glad readers seemed to really like the angles I chose for the punching. It was more of an ’emotion’ thing than anything, the fact that Jen knew she had an advantage and wanted to squeeze every bit of it. Great catch with the color coded sound effects. 😀 I hope that it makes it easier to tell what’s happening with the noise of the match, so to speak. Funny you bring up how Gabrielle was hoping that Sabrina would make it into the TV tournament. More on that will be discussed in the future. I think you have a great read for how the other Upstart girls would’ve handled the start of the match. No way does Sun get jumped and Brooke….well, Brooke is Brooke. 😛
Yeah, MGC, that would be a definite example of ‘losing by winning.’ The Belle’s are crazy selective about who joins them. Notice that Angel, who by the merits of their deal is supposed to be a Belle, but we haven’t seen her with the group yet.

XD For some reason, ‘Would you stop,” was always a great one. Heenan and Ventura are the inspiration behind Jeff with some Lawler thrown in for seasoning.
