Page 190 – Fired Up!
Lots going on this page. We have the different reactions to Sabrina’s interview as its happening. And then Sabrina’s interview/promo itself. She’s not showing any apprehension from going out there with no backup, cracking some jokes and having a good time.
She’s still outnumbered by the Belle’s with Chloe waiting behind the jumbotron and Kat at ringside. The only real thing going for Sabrina is that the Belles don’t know that Sabrina asked her friends not to come down, so they’re attention is on something other than interfering in the match. And there’s always a chance that some of her Upstart mates might disregard their promise to Sabrina.
In case anyone forgot, Gabrielle’s comment is in response to Jen Needles’s comment from the last page. As we know, Gabrielle is all about the ratings and merchandise sales.

I won’t boooo her, nor cheer for her.. here one thing on “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, she loves the fans, but is she really? I wish she’ll just lose against Jennifer Needles, I mean humble forfeit the match and give then the win. after all, Hell’s Belles declare war Rival Angels roster, so I think for the best on “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini’s part just to lose, so further damage or destruction on her. and other thing, episode 31 and 32.. “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini chills, fear when she meet the Hell’s Belles.. and now she ACT as if she don’t fear the Hell’s Belles, but Deep inside “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, it chills her, thinking Con-chair-to, baseball bat with thorns and it’s covered in flame, boiling oil..

Ya know, I thought I saw a bit of a shadow under The Pin Head’s up-turned nose in the last episode…
The Commissioner’s wine glass doesn’t look much like the one on page 88, but that one could have been Michael’s.

WHEN Ultragirl wins, I’m gonna have a hard time choosing who to cheer for! I really like Xtina too! But I think ultimately, my cheering will always be for Sabrina. I love Sun’s reaction to Sabrina’s interview. 😀

Ah ‘Brina lets not have a “Somme” moment and think this’ll be a cakewalk.
As we saw in her previous match, she does like to take control early but then loses focus midway and has to fight a ragged rearguard action to secure the pin. Hopefully she’ll survive long enough to win but I doubt her chances post-match with two (possibly three) Hells Belles out there …
hmmm.. “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini attitude towards the male. she tries to flirting the male employee. like to episode 103, and now 190 to nick.. “Nice shirt, bad tie” ?Â

“Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini basically using her beauty and flirt the male, so the male will put a sign “Marry Me Ultragirl Sabrina” “Love you Ultragirl” it’s a trick.. and most of the audience fall for it. I don’t know if Sabrina is being honest to Jeff and Nick..but I think Sabrina is taking advantage of the male who work on Rival Angels.
Me thinks Sabrina is fishing around for a new t-shirt…Â Trying new catch phrases on for size and all.
I love all the reactions! Especially Brooke’s. HILARIOUS!! So petty. She jumped back up on my list with that one!

Prestwick, Sabrina’s putting forth an optimistic attitude. She knows she’s outnumbered, but she doesn’t want to give anyone the satisfaction of any anxiety she might be feeling. You have an excellent read on Sabrina’s previous matches and your observations for post-match, win or lose are definitely with merit.

It’d be a pretty lousy comic if the main character gave up when the odds were against her. If a wrestler on TV just forfeited matches, the fans would think they were pussies. Sabrina is the tough babyface who never backs down. Honestly she needs more character development, but that part we’ve got down.
This ep gains much from multiple readings, where you consider the points of view each time.
Panel one: Sabrina is bubbly with her describing Nick’s attire. Do note Action Hair… she is excited. The inset establishes Krystin and Brooke, aka Aphrodite, the GoDDess whose motto is “Love Hurts”, are together to watch the match.
Panel two: Nick doesn’t know what to make of this towel business. Sabrina radiates charm and confidence. Jen is clearly not into being insulted, she dishes it out but can’t take it.
Panel three: Sabrina casually flips the microphone. Nick is in a hurry to catch it but he can’t put the towel down. Inset establishes Sun is sitting in a couch, most likely in the Damage Inc hangout.
Panel four: The crowd is eating all this up.You can see lots of people like her, I imagine the guys like her earnestness ( among other things ) and the girls see her as someone they can identify with.  There’s a lot of motion in this pic, the crowd, Sabrina’s hair, her arms… quite a depiction. Brina has another tattoo: is that a… sun? Inset: The Commish is holding her glass in her left hand. Coincidence with the Mysterious Supervisor a couple eps back…? I have a lot of chores so I don’t have time to scan the archives to see if Gabrielle’s handedness has been previously established.
I’m going to go tangential here… last ep we saw Chloe putting all sorts of pain inducing implements in a bag. It’s clear she wants to use them on someone. But who?
Sabrina’s the obvious choice… what if she’s not?
What if Chloe’s gonna torture someone to get Sabrina to forfeit? Commissioner Gabrielle? Unlikely, the boss can inflict a whole lot of pain back. Michael? Brooke would rescue him. A fan? Chloe’s sadistic, not insane. A ref? Just as insane, and Nick and the other RA staff count as refs for this discussion. Other wrestlers, like Marina? Hard to see that happening.Â
That leaves it to be one of the Upstarts, doesn’t it?
I have a bad feeling about this…

Ken B3, I’m glad that Sabrina showing up isn’t a surprise. 😛 As we move forward, we’ll get more character development on all of main characters.

Chloe’s intentions will get a little bit clearer shortly, but that’s a great way to rule out the ‘torture’ candidates. 😉 Niiiiiice catch with the handedness of Gabrielle, at least with her drink. Though there’s still a few other people we need to rule out before making the ‘clue’ declaration. XD I’m thrilled you liked Sabrina’s presentation, and yep! That’s a sun on her neck. She’s had it since before the story started (page 1) but is it coincidence of phenomenon that she has a visual representation of her BFF on the back of her neck?
ohhhh I get it now… “Sabrina Mancini” is “John Cena”, but with Rey Mysterio moveset. lol
