Every time someone enthuses about enjoying seeing one of the girls in pain, it reminds me of Andre. So I’m going to post with #NoAndre, until it’s a Thing.

1) It was recently revealed that a character in the comic, Andre, takes perverse pleasure in watching women get hurt.
2) Other people also express great joy in watching the women in the comic get hurt.
3) #NoAndre disavows similarity between 1 and 2.
Psst, darkmark – that’s not how kinks work. Andre enjoys the idea of women suffering. Watching Sun suffer was his favorite, because he could get his hands on her, but just like having a girlfriend doesn’t mean your eyes don’t follow a pretty girl, and just like being single doesn’t turn off the sex drive, any particularly physical women’s wrestling match would probably get his motor running.
Well yes, sadism isn’t an uncommon fetish. Neither is its counterpart, masochism. What of it?
Is that what it comes down to, sadism? I don’t need a label for everything and I certainly don’t want anyone to feel on the spot about any particular fetish they have, but it happens more than I’d like that someone tries to push something on me to include in the comic, that I just don’t care for. I try not to label them as ‘weird’ or ‘crazy’ out of hand but I think I’d help me understand where they’re coming from. Otherwise it’s just ‘Sabrina/Sun/Brooke get repeated broken’ and I personally don’t understand the appeal in that.
And I have my favorite jobbers, and I would tell them to their face that they do an excellent job of getting others over (an honorable work) but I would never tell them it’s sexy how they lose or that they’re in pain or whatever it is. Not to mention that it’s scripted so I don’t feel that I would be especially douchey saying that, as opposed to telling them that losing an athletic competition that they have stakes in was arousing. Like telling an MMA fighter that it’s sexy that they lost just seems like an alien concept to me. (and I realize that’s not been said or stated HERE. Just sayin)
I like particularly physical women’s wrestling matches. What guy doesn’t like to see fit, sweaty women exerting themselves.
It seems a ton of women like women’s wrestling too! For similar, and different reasons to be sure. XD
