And Regal and Katie Lea have all had stretches (so to speak) as faces as well. As for tagging with Vicky, she’s nice enough, but the tag division is really for *checks for Snowy* second-tier talent.
Also, “British Invasion” is sooooo played out.

At least Sabrina’s upping the banter element of her game, though pushing me into the corner and backing up into the opposite one suggests she’s still a little too wedded to her “Step 1: Hurl yourself at your opponent. There is no Step 2” plan.
True. A mere shove is not nearly enough damage done to warrant a run-up like that. She’s asking for a boot to the face.

Why would you think Callie would want to destroy Sabrina or think that there’s any bad blood between them? After all, Callie has a win over Sabrina already. O_o
Well there’s a nice bit o’ trash talking going on there, and Sabrina’s showing some staying power. Still a little too much time spent playing chew-toy, though. 😀
Sabrina has lots of staying power. She is like the Hulk and can’t win until she gets beat up enough to win. Makes me wonder if she enjoys pain,

That’s Sabrina’s inexperience shining through and often her compensation is to get mad, though she’s not really showing any of that here. I mean, she’s (trying) giving as good as she’s getting, physically and mentally.
Can we just vote for Sabrina to stop with the banter? It’s become painful now.

ya know you’ve crafted a well thought out main character for a wrestling comic when she gets the cena treatment. i wonder when will see the signs.. in the same vein as “cena nuff”.. that read “sabrin there done that.” I was wondering how that submission hold was applied.. not saying you drafted wrong.. and i know ive seen it done.. just cant suss it in my brain.. reverse stf with a bridge i guess? You should find like a 2 year old match between hunico and debias jr.. hunico whipped this murderous submission on teddy and won.. but i think it was add libed cause i couldnt find a name for it other than ankle trap
It’s exactly that, an inverted stf. Facing away from the opponent’s head, you get your leg in between your opponents, hook the foot of her far leg with her near leg, hook the near leg around your leg, then bridge backwards, reaching under her chin and pulling back.

It was a simple keyed leg lock before Muta championed it. I do like the Muta lock name better. But it’s origins are in the ne waza. It is ultimately a calf crush attack on the knee.

I’ll give it a try sometime. I’ve got more than a few inches on Toyota, though, so bridging that far could be a bit of a strain. I’m also not sure going under the arms really puts any more pressure on the back, either. That said, it looks rather nice.
@Callie yeah the under the arms thing and loose grip is the reason I want to see it perfected.
But I fear any other variations would no longer make it a muta lock.
While I can see how the lock works Sabrina’s leg just doesn’t look right. It seems to be bent the wrong way.

austin aries has been using it of late as well.
Aries has been using it for a LONG time. When I first saw this hold, I thought “That isn’t an STF, that’s the Last Chancery used by Austin Aries!”
(Wikipedia says this move is a “bridging arm triangle choke”. I don’t know. When I hear “STF” I automatically think “That thing John Cena does.”)

Can’t seem to reply to your comment, Albone, so I’ll answer by making a new one. I’m not sure, but I think the difference between Cena’s move and a crossface is that Cena bends one of the legs back with his own legs while stretching the neck, and a wrestler applying a crossface uses their legs to hold an opponent’s arm in place instead.
Regardless, good call by you and Callie, because this move is much cooler. 🙂
Cena puts the toehold on FAR too loosely. It barely looks like he’s even got it hooked, let alone like his hold is tweaking the leg any.
ah ok only really saw Aries since he returned to Impact (didn;t see much of him during his Austin Starr days) and he was using the brainbuster mostly this time around so only seen him use the Last Chancery a few times- more of late though.
Cena’s version is kinda like he wanted to do a STF and a crossface but couldn;t decide which one he wanted so he does half of each in a what looks to me like a very non hurting version of either.
And the problem there is that the two holds aren’t aimed at the same part of the back. The reason for the toe hold in an STF, in addition to having the leg hooked, is to pull back the leg so that that and pulling the chin backwards both work on the middle-lower back. It’s why I’ve got the inverted version on Sabrina, because she’s flexible enough (not a Yoshi joke) that she needs to be bent back farther for the hold to be fully effective.
In the case of the crossface, though, you’re planting your weight across her back, and bending the chin back, working on the neck and upper part of the back.
Sabrina can not even seem to come up with any original trash talk. Hasn’t she said that like to 2-3 other people already? Yeah she is definitely Cena.

Sabrina is use to violent turns, everytime we turn around she is getting hurt. She needed to fall in love with a person who gives massages for a living.

I’m still curious about two things:
A) What did Yvonne want to talk to Sun about? Okay, it might not have been important, for all I know she wants to yell at Sun for sweating on Damage Inc’s couch and Sun will have an opportunity to quote the most famous sketch in the history of Chappelle’s Show in her response, but on the other hand it might be something important!
B) What was Sun about to say about Brooke before Kyra cut her off? To paraphrase, “She’s stuck wrestling dark matches, BUT…”
So I hope we cut back to Sun relatively soon.

I have to say that I’m really happy that Callie is getting some nice comments here especially since I didn’t really build up the match between she and Sabrina. I know not everyone is going to like her, but it makes me happy that people can be respectful.
Obviously, I like her. XD Brenda, Snowy, Black Widow, and Susy Love have been included because I’ve known them like, forever and it’s always been my little nod to them considering our shared interest. 🙂
