Playing with a new art style? Panel 4 with Sabrina’s face and eyes, and Panel 5 with Sun’s proportions seem a bit different. (And as an aside, daww… they’re having a heel/babyface tactics spat. :). They grow up so fast these days.)

Brina is smart. Brina is wise. If either of them had tried something then they’d be at fault and I’d be justified in defending myself. We’re not talking zing at that point. It’s Ka-ching! Gurneys for two, oh and make that take out.
As it is, Brina came out ahead and with style. Nicely done.

You’ve GOT to be kidding. They’re rookies, lacking experience and skills to go there. There’s no thing they have over me but speed. And experience has a way of offsetting that. For example Brina might throw a big boot faster than me. But if I know it’s coming that does’t matter. Mind, we’re not wrestling at that point.
That’s something Callie knows lots about. One of these days someone will figure out just what it is she is doing. Maybe. Kinda like Big Show.
I like that Big Show is your archetype of “figured it out”. Explains your diet.
Does the “Why didn’t you? Are you tired?” dialogue belong to Sun or Sabrina? I think it’s supposed to be Sun…

If she was going for “classy with a side of bitchy,” she probably should have left out the part about her inner 13 year old marking out over Brenda caring enough to squash her, but I see the intent. She wanted to leave Brenda with marks a bit more impactful than a simple bruise.
That said, I’d say she didn’t quite go about it the right way. Cryptic comments and veiled threats only confuse her a bit, and if you’re too subtle, they’ll just go over her head. Best thing to do is to carry on like she’s not there. She can’t stand not being the centre of…oh, that’s why Brina couldn’t do that. Hits a little close to home. 😀

It’s certainly a work-in-progress for Sabrina. As you can see, Sun had feedback for her. What will the rest of Damage Inc. say?
Kyra will say what Sun said, only with more calling Sabrina stupid, Yvonne will probably say that it was Sabrina’s call, though she might imply that if Sabrina had been thinking about the rest of DI, she should have taken the opportunity to lay a beating on Brenda. Nikki will probably be otherwise occupied.
Nikki does have that ‘medical condition.’

plus brina keeps herself as the “token good teammate” of DI in the eyes of the fans by taking the high road and not starting a fight like a heel would with a 2 on 1 advantage. which of course brings up the question in the eyes of some of whether it’s all an act or not, which in turns keeps people off balance around her.
sun on the other hand is somewhat more direct in her approach.
As you can see, the thought of jumping Brenda never crossed Sabrina’s mind.
As for Sun, Blitz, that’s not even a rationale choice, better person vs most damage. It would barely register as an abstract concept for her. XD

Classic Sun always quick to think of revenge. She and Sabrina are true best friends to showcase how they’re different in their actions, but remain good friends who have each other back. 🙂

Poor Sun, subtlety really isn’t her strong suit, is it? You’d think someone with the tagline “Ninja’d” would know a bit more about it.
In reality she’s not Ninja or Assassin in temperament. Build and nimbleness, sure. But Sun has Samurai heart trapped in kami body.
Sun was all for subtly putting Brenda through a table. Sneaky even. XD
Brina’s still not too good at this whole “heel” thing yet.

I still think that Sun missed her chance to Ninja’ed Brenda. Act first and you know that Sabrina will back you up. That’s what friends are for!
I do wonder if Sun/Sabrina trust Yvonne enough to ask her for tactics. Does Sabrina talk to Yvonne at all?
Honestly, we might have to give Sun credit for letting Sabrina take the reins on this one. As good an idea as I always feel it is to give Brenda a kicking, Sabrina’s the one that got put through the table, it’s up to her to decide the form that that revenge is going to take.
Now I’m totally behind blaming Sabrina for that form not being a good kicking, but oh well.
Sun would say that another chance at Ninjaing Brenda is never too far off.
As for Yvonne’s tactical advice, just wait for next update. 😉

I think Sabrina did the right thing here. No need to jump her when she’s likley expecting it. A nice verbal thumb to the nose will set her up for the table driving that’s in Brenda’s future.
I have to admit that I’d be stumped if Sabrina weren’t in Damage Inc but in this same situation. So much so that it probably be a whole different story, which obviously makes sense since it would be a different story. 😛
As far as mindgames go, that was actually quite a good one by Sabrina.
